Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Canton of Bern

We had a fantastic stay in the chalet. The chalet itself is beautiful and clearly built and furnished with a great deal of skill and care. It’s located on a beautiful hillside with views of the surrounding mountains and surrounded by green pastures. Our closest neighbors were the local cows. The location works best with a car and is within easy driving distance to hikes and sites in the Interlaken region. It’s possible to get there by public transport through a bus from Brienz but it didn’t seem to be very frequent (about once an hour). We were there in September which was a good time to visit. The chalet is heated by wood fire and was a bit cold the first night (we arrived late and the fire wasn’t on for long before we went to bed) but very comfortable the rest of the stay - there was plenty of wood and it kept the heat in well). The weather outside was great for hikes and exploring. It was clearly off-season and some restaurants were closed (eg in Axalp) so good to plan ahead.

Great place to stay for our summer break. Beautiful and tranquil surroundings with awesome view. Paul is responsive regardless of the time I texted him. We had such a memorable experience in Interlaken area.

Aldo was great and his recommendations very accurate to what we needed. I loved that he communicated with us since the first moment we reserved and was also sharing pictures and sending clear instructions on our arrival.

The Chutzli is a super cozy, small chalet in a magnificent location on the Axalp. The direct view of the mountains and Lake Brienzer is breathtaking. Within a 2-minute walk you are directly on the ski slope. The tranquility at night is not comparable. The landlords are very courteous, reliable and mindful of the well-being of their guests. The chalet is lovingly decorated, well equipped and already partially renovated. For us as a family with 2 children, the Chutzli was ideal. We felt very comfortable and fully cared for. The winter vacation on the Axalp was fantastically beautiful.

It was nice ,neat ,clean quiet ,visionary and moreover the host was very friendly , cooperative and helpful. We would like to visit again this place.

The place was fantastic, a downright “bijou”. You must have put an incredible amount of time and energy into this beautiful remodel, so much creativity and attention to detail - great. We enjoyed every minute, just perfect to say goodbye to the hustle of everyday life and immerse ourselves in the tranquility of nature. Thank you Yves for making your home strangers accessible and sharing the beauty of the house and Valais.

Extraordinary home exuding both authenticity and modernity. It offered much more space than my wife and I needed, but we relished its total peace and privacy entirely on our own far above Grindelwald with absolutely stunning views. Photos hardly do this magnificent home justice. Amazing hikes just outside the door surrounded by natural beauty and tranquility...a home we didn't want to leave.

The host Pierre welcomed us warmly, had already preheated the house nicely, gave us good excursion tips, took the time to explain everything to us and even had a welcome gift for us, very sweet and recommended. The sauna was great. The dogs also had their fun with nature. All in all, it is very relaxing. Thank you very much Pierre Alex family

Our stay at this chalet in Grindelwald was absolutely wonderful! The home is beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and perfectly organized, making for a truly comfortable and relaxing experience. The breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains made every moment special. Kenzie was an outstanding host—warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful. When we found ourselves without transportation from the station, she kindly picked us up and ensured we got to the chalet smoothly. Her hospitality made all the difference, and we truly appreciated it. We would love to come back and stay here again—highly recommend this gem in Grindelwald!

It's been a great week in the wonderfully homely Chalet Düretli. Everything worked out great and we could very well imagine vacationing here again.

Fantastic apartment for skiing. The kitchen was really well equipped, the bathroom clean, the living room warm and we were all comfortable. There is a large secure basement parking and ski room. A 5-10min walk from the Fiesch lift. Only thing to note is the gallery and double upper bedroom are much lower than the photos suggest. The ski helmets might come in handy!

We had booked a little randomly without being too informed. really a very nice discovery of this corner of Switzerland. the accommodation is really perfect, ideally located and the environment is just sublime, quiet and far from mass tourism. sincerely, we only have one desire, go back in the summer to discover other activities. for our hosts, discreet, good advice, ...what more could we ask for...we are close to perfection....

We had a lovely ski-ing holiday staying in Ursula's perfect little flat under their charming family chalet. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the amazing view of the mountains surrounding Grindelwald. We had three days of fantastic skiing, and found the bus link to Terminal, where the main lifts start, very easy. Ursula met us and helped us with our bags. She was a perfect host, and we look forward to another visit. Annabel and Philip

good stay at Roberto's. the view is beautifully and the appartement is well located and very clean. roberto is very responsive and accommodating. only negative point: check out before 9am and bed linen, towels and parking not included in the price.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Apartment is in a great location to fasten the skis and drive to the chairlift after a few steps. Apartment was ideal for us as a family of four. Beautiful view from the balcony.

Great, roomy chalet, lots of space for our two families (4 adults, 4 children), large bedrooms, big kitchen/dining table. Location was great, right on the piste - you can watch skiers going past all day. 5 steps to get on the piste that takes you down to the main gondola stations (TERMINAL) and you are able to ski right back to the chalet. We were there in February 2025, not tons of snow but still enough on the valley run to make it back to the chalet.

We really enjoyed the time in the Stadel - it was extremely relaxing thanks to a great view in a quiet and natural location in a very cozy ambience. Highly recommended and thanks again to Markus!!

The amenities and decor are tastefully designed, it is very comfortable and neat in the details: large shower, beautiful towels in number, shower gel that smells good, fluffy and cozy duvet, tea and coffee capsules upon your arrival... Nick is a generous host and available on the first call if needed. We are close to Gstaad with easy and quick access by road, a beautiful parking area next to the cottages... We keep the address!

We spent a week in the cabin and felt very comfortable right away. The view is very nice and it's very quiet. You can watch a lot of marmots. We have taken many varied hikes from the cabin. We would come back back. Thank you for the great hospitality!

The Airbnb was great, good location (only 3 minutes by car to the gondola lift), great for ski holidays. Nice plenty of space and great mountain views. The hostess was super sweet and accommodating, she showed us everything and was always available. Were very nice short holidays!
