Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Capalbio

It was our first time in Castiglione. Landlord (mother and daughter) very kind, welcoming and very helpful. Wonderful place, away from the chaos of the city but a short distance from the sea, surrounded by nature and peace. Spacious place, with everything you need inside and out with lounge chairs, umbrella, and table. We felt at home. Thanks again for everything. We will definitely be back.

Alexandra's place is a great location to relax and enjoy peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed taking country road walks, lake side and hill top towns. All very nearby. Alexandra was very helpful and accommodating.

I was in Castiglione della Pescaia for a week with my family and dog. I had a really good time at Flavia's place, very clean, very nice location and well-kept garden. I have to say that it is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of a vacation.

Piero was very responsive. The property was very well equipped and located on beautiful land - surrounded by vineyards and open space across a valley. It was centrally located for our daily trips around Umbria and surrounding regions. It was very easy to get there from Rome airport. Loved the ability to buy / taste their wine which was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again in our travels through Italy.

Rossano and his wife received us very well. The house is as described, clean and with all the necessities for cook and breakfast. Thank you so much!

Exactly what we needed

We were a family of 5 with two 20 year old boys and an eleven year old girl. We loved the homely feel of the farmhouse. It had everything we needed for our 10 day break. The gardens and pool were amazing and we loved the two different sitting areas. If you are looking for somewhere to get away from it all then this is a great option. There are a few nice restaurants within a ten minute drive and the towns of Orvieto and Bolcina were great to visit. We also used the train service to go to Rome which was very easy. You definitely need a car when staying here. Andrea was friendly, very helpful and on hand if you needed anything. Would definitely recommend this fantastic holiday home.

Peaceful retreat, character, and stunning views

We had a lovely holiday! It was a nice apartment and everything was present. Glad there's also a community pool. People in the village were also very friendly. Very nice to have experienced Sagra del Ravioli! It's a beautiful place to check out the beautiful surroundings from there!

I am so happy that I booked Alistair's accommodation! A private guest house with a spectacular view and lovely amenities (as listed). Located near beautiful Tuscan towns, it was easy to get to and from. It was great to meet Alistair and Maria, they were so welcoming and generous. They also provided fantastic recommendations for local restaurants. We wish we booked for longer!

Ginevra was very friendly and forthcoming. Communication was smooth and prompt. Nice place, surely recommended!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could!! We had such a wonderful stay at Tom & Colleen’s place. Their renovation of an historic property is fantastic—lovely rooms with incredible views of the surrounding countryside. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed, and then some. We really appreciated being able to do a bit of laundry, and also having olive oil and basic spices in the cabinet too! Tom and Colleen also have so much helpful information about the local area—history, day tours, restaurant recommendations, everything. I do recommend having a rental car, but the company they recommended was very affordable and we had a great experience. Truly cannot recommend them enough. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

This is a jewel of a property. We were looking for a restful and relaxing place in the Italian countryside and this is it!! The amenities are great, Ilario and his wife and their son, Ricardo are lovely people and they are so grateful for your business and make you feel right at home! Our rental unit was spotless and the kitchen has everything you need to cook meals in house of which we did. The bed is very comfortable!! Even though you are out in the country you are still close enough for many of the beautiful sights of this part of Italy. We will definitely return!!

Sabrina and her family were very accommodating and amazing host! The whole stay was superb In every way and my whole family as well as myself noted it couldn’t have been a better experience. From the amazing home cooked breakfast, to the cleanliness of the house, and the well thought out and led cooking class/dinner we enjoyed every aspect. Sabrina was very welcoming and made you feel like family :) I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful farm style stay that wants to experience Tuscany.

Beautiful farmhouse, wonderful hostess! A beautifully located farmhouse, in the middle of olive groves with great views of the Tuscan hills. Very friendly hostess who manages the large property in an admirably relaxed manner. It was all to our satisfaction and Martine was always available and helpful. We highly recommend the Pagiano del Ruggeri.

Absolutely amazing location in the countryside! Communication was excellent. We arrived at night to find our location with specific instructions. We stayed in Casa Azurre, a 2-bedroom residence on the property. Thank you Marta for an amazing experience! We woke up in the morning to the most incredible views! We had a long itinerary to drive around Val D’Orcia, but could easily just stay here and enjoy our stay! We seriously loved it here!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Lidia, and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and stunning views that took our breath away. The location is simply perfect—a peaceful retreat in the middle of an olive yard. The recommendations provided by our host were spot-on, guiding us to hidden gems that we would have missed otherwise. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool area, where we spent sun-soaked afternoons relaxing and enjoying the peaceful ambiance. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration. Overall, Villa Lidia exceeded all our expectations. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a family retreat, this is the place to be! Gorgeous spot with the ocean as your back yard—we already want to come back to visit again!

Proactively responded to any type of request Home: Same as described in a true way What I loved: 1) terrace in the kitchen, very spacious for dinner, breakfast 2) parking very close to the house 3) very quiet and quiet area, but only 10 minutes by car from the beach (in Punta Ala there is never traffic...) 4) the beach club is among the most renowned in the area, so it is a gift that has its own value

We had a great time! The place is beautiful, immersed in olive trees and very relaxing. The pool is beautiful and the area is lovely. Alessandro was very hospitable, he made us find everything perfect and gave us a bottle of wine produced by them, very good! Renato is super helpful and friendly. Don't forget stay!!

A small peaceful oasis in the middle of the Tuscan countryside. The cottage is a small studio located in a basement equipped with all the necessary amenities. The owners are exquisite people, very helpful and hospitable. There is even a beautiful pig inside an enclosure that wags its tail at the sight of people. Super recommended We will definitely be back and we will also return to the Castiglione della Pescaia area because we still have so much to visit.

Beautiful place surrounded by woods in contact with nature. The tent is spacious and comfortable with an en-suite bathroom. The views of the Tuscan hills are fantastic. To get there you have to travel a fairly long but feasible dirt road (I went up with a Dacia Sandero). Absolutely recommended 😊
