Holiday rentals with an accessible-height toilet in Cape Charles

A quiet, unique, fun and friendly place to stay! Location was good for me as I don't like to be in the middle of a town with traffic and lots of people. I was so impressed with this wonderfully interesting family who creates a unique "experience" in each one of the renovated cabins. There were so many thoughtful details...exceptional gourmet coffee, evening greetings with special lights placed on your porch, a fire in the huge fire pit surrounded by chairs enables guests to get to know each other and the hosts, each night. I didn't make it to the fire pit as planned, but so grateful I did have a chance to visit with the owner for a bit...a very engaging and inspiring person! Upon arriving, their son carried all of my heavy baggage into the room which meant so much to me....also as I left they came by with a cart and did the same. I shouldn't create unrealistic expectations here, as I am an older single woman, so maybe they were just being extra accommodating! I was grateful to be able to sit on my porch in the serenity of the early morning and watch the sun rise, rather than start my day in town. I would certainly come back!

Absolutely perfect home. Location- just outside gates of Kiptopeke park, minutes away on foot. Food Lion and Cape Charles 10- min away. Spotlessly clean. Best stocked kitchen. Loved all of the extras in the kitchen (placemats, decorative bowls)- made for wonderful meals in the evening. Beds- very comfortable. Thoughtful details- flashlights around the house, first aid kit, laundry detergent/iron; the list is long! Screen porch was our favorite. Would be hard to find a better home away from home.

Beautiful historic home in a great location and street. Only a short walk to the beach and downtown. The house has been renovated and decorated with taste and quality. It is fully stocked, much more than expected! Especially the kitchen that has everything a cook might need! Beds (mattresses) are a bit tired. It has a great lower level bathroom and a beautiful, huge, laundry room that makes it all much more functional and comfortable. The back yard is a dream, lots of spaces to relax, entertain, grill or roast marshmallows and gorgeous at night with mini lights. The outdoor shower is wonderful to have. The front porch and veranda are great at all hours especially after the beach! We were a three generation family with six adults and the space worked perfectly fine.
