There are lovely grounds for playing or grilling, & a nice pool. The condo is between Fort Macon & central Atlantic Beach. The NC Aquarium, Morehead City, & Beaufort are nearby. Emerald Isle & Swansboro also aren’t too far. Harker’s Island & Cape Lookout are fun excursions. And for a major day trip, you can take the Cedar Island ferry to Ocracoke.

Our 1914 cottage has weathered many storms and stands tall with charm. She is well loved and lived in. We have chickens pecking, ducks waddling through the gardens, sun shining through our stained glass, spiders spinning webs, paint drips, palmetto bugs, an old swing in the front yard, cats napping, Spanish moss in the trees, and a screened-in porch to take in the beauty of a long day's sunset. The Yates Cottage is directly on the water and is designed for spectacular views of Core Sound and Cape Lookout Lighthouse with large windows on 3 sides. House is stocked with plenty of kitchen necessities and other conveniences so all you need to do is show up ready to relax!
