Spacious front yard for parking vehicles and boat trailer. Conditioned storage area in garage for coolers and fishing supplies. Screened in front porch perfect for a relaxing evening. Public beach access is limited on the island check out the Guidebook section for beach locations and other attractions.

Wild Rose Cottage, Gardens, & Stained Glass Studio

Our 1914 cottage has weathered many storms and stands tall with charm. She is well loved and lived in. We have chickens pecking, ducks waddling through the gardens, sun shining through our stained glass, spiders spinning webs, paint drips, palmetto bugs, an old swing in the front yard, cats napping, Spanish moss in the trees, and a screened-in porch to take in the beauty of a long day's sunset. Our island homestead is for those looking for a down-to-earth stay with nature & art close at hand. ♥

Live Oak Lookout-Waterfront, Private, Pet Friendly

Come see paradise for yourself! This is arguably the most beautiful private waterfront property in all of the Crystal Coast. Watch the sun rise and set from our south facing island cottage. It is known to be the closest Harkers Island Home to Shackleford Banks, at less than 2 miles. Cape Lookout Lighthouse is in clear view! Fishing, hunting, shelling & other water adventures are all at your fingertips. The Dollar General Store is walking distance and Billy's Grocery is less than 1 mile.

Wonderfully updated and decorated cottage with views of Back Sound and Cape Lookout! King master, queen guest, queen pullout couch, and outdoor shower. Convenient to everything on Harker's, adjacent to the Harker's Island Fishing Center (boat ramp/ships store), neighbors to Fishhook Grill, 700 feet from Billy's Grocery Store, 2 miles to Ferry/Core Sound Waterfowl Museum, 3.5 miles to Taylors Creek (Beaufort) by boat, 6 miles by boat to the lighthouse. Plenty of room to park a boat and trailer!

Ant’s Corner is a cozy coastal retreat with a water view in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located near Island Express Ferry Service and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum. Home updates done in spring of 2024 include- entire interior painted, popcorn ceilings removed and other drywall repairs, new ceiling fans and interior lighting, and more! House is stocked with plenty of kitchen necessities and other conveniences so all you need to do is show up ready to relax!
