We had a really lovely, peaceful stay at Pascal and Christine's beautiful home. We enjoyed the views out over their garden and the fresh fruit and juice which came from it. They were kind hosts and made us feel very welcome.

Caroline is a wonderful hostess who helped us in every way with advice on the area and restaurants to drive to and cooked delicious breakfasts. Quiet spot by the sea.

This was one of my favorite stays ever! The hosts are the kindest, most hospitable people— always available to help and make you feel at home. The space is cozy and could not be more inviting. An absolute plus is the bikes which are great to visit all the nearby towns. Looking forward to staying here again!

Beautiful house in the countryside of Surtainville, large and clean room, convenient location for the gr223 making some detours. Genevieve was very helpful and kind, she made me feel at home despite my poor knowledge of French :)

Sandra’s place is the perfect spot to stay while exploring the D-Day beaches. We stayed in the family room, very comfortable for our family of 5, with a shared kitchen, and private bath. Lots of room for the kids to explore and plenty of activities to keep them busy. Breakfast was delicious. We definitely recommend Sandra’s place!

We had come for a funeral in the area, and finding ourselves 4 hours away from home and at the end of the afternoon, we decided to stay there and return the next day... Despite our late request, Magali responded to our request, and although absent from her home, allowed us to spend the night in her house. We thank her for hosting us and for her trust and advice, but we made sure, I think, not to have disappointed her by accepting our accommodation.

We had a great time at Colette's place. The accommodation is completely as described, the beach is within walking distance at 400m. Colette is very attentive and full of wonderful little touches (crib made upon arrival, child shower gel provided for our son etc...). Colette makes a hearty breakfast with homemade crepes and jams. We'll most certainly be back! You can go there without a second thought, you will be expected and welcomed with care.

Very nice building. Quiet and peaceful environment. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and tastefully arranged and match the photos. Chistine is a very welcoming and warm person. The breakfast she served us was delicious. I would highly recommend it. Antoine

Thanks to Pascale and Jean for hosting their beautiful home in the countryside. The village with shops and restaurants is very close and accessible on foot as we were. Quiet room with good bedding. Breakfast was a very friendly moment! Thank you for the jeep tours that saved us a few extra steps!

Excellent!! Very nice accommodation, very pleasant and comfortable, with lots of care, even for our dog... it is perfect for a family with 2 teenagers and a dog. The location allows you to travel throughout lower Normandy between Mont St Michel and the landing beaches. The beach is a 25-minute drive. The place is very beautiful, not to be missed, the Abbey of Hambye. Finally Wendy and Simon are absolutely charming Thank you?😃

If you like ‘bucket list’ vacations that create memorable experiences, book this Airbnb. Anastasia is warm and welcoming; the property is beautiful and rich with history; and the town is charming and peaceful. Staying in her French farm house with her delightful family was one of the highlights of our trips. She has a perfect five-star rating because she’s more than an Airbnb host, she’s someone who feels like a friend the moment you pull onto the property. We’ve only been home from France for 48 hours and I’ve already sung her praises to anyone who has asked about our travels. If your travel plans allow for time in the Normandy region with transportation, I highly recommend staying with Anastasia.

Christine is a very pleasant and available host. She is very good advice and ready to be of service. We had a lovely time chatting over an herbal tea. The accommodation is clean and close to the sea. Overall we had a nice stay.

An idyllic place. We had a very pleasant weekend and we will come back to enjoy the site even more. The welcome is warm, the room is as described, we slept very well (quality bedding) and what can I say about the exceptional breakfast. We spent time chatting with Najet and her husband. Small walks on the beach 20 m away (surfing, sand yachting) and magnificent views of the Roche Coucou. It was just a moment of happiness. I would recommend it in a second.
