Holiday rentals in Carmelita

Had a great stay with Bart! Great guy, I’d strongly suggest spending some time with him, and take part in some of his side work. I went to several festivals with him selling flavored ice, awesome to experience the different cultures, from a Mennonite rodeo, to a tilapia festival in creole country, couple La Ruda Maya events! Great eggs, something about the frying pan, but boy were they good. Nothing special about the rental, simple, but very entertaining watching the wildlife, and chickens on the back deck, watch your roommates fly out of the eaves, and comeback in the morning! Take buddy for a walk every morning, but watch Rexy, he’ll try and give you a smooch! I loved my stay there, and would definitely do it again, but you gotta be an outdoor camping type! You’re not at the Hilton! Barb was in the states, so I didn’t personally see her long, but she always returns text, and checks in on you regularly. Quiet, and comfortable for my type of person! Enjoy, and relax!!

Naz was a great host. He was friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to eat and where to get things in Orange walk. I will definitely stay there again.

Lisa’s place is very spacious and clean. It is located in a small village, best for nature lovers. A big plus was that the Bird’s Eye View Lodge is a 3 minute walk down the road. The managers there practically adopted us as external guests. We ate our meals there, took tours, got advice and enjoyed the great location right on the lagoon. Without the Lodge our stay would have been less pleasant, for sure. So, we got the best of both places: Lisa’s nice spacious and peaceful place, and the amenities of the Lodge.

Amazing place to stay near tu Altun Ha Mayan ruins

Our 3 nights stay at Konstantin's place was the best of our visit to Belize, we were very disappointed of Belize City but at least when we went home we felt safe, we got some peace in this beautiful property. Near Altun Ha and 45mins to Belize City. I highly recommend it.

Tuvimos la mejor de las experiencias en Horse Cottage! Es un lugar en el medio de la naturaleza pero con todo el confort! Todo está pensando, hasta el último detalle! Las habitaciones son enormes y cómodas, las camas y la ropa de cama es excelente. Todo está impecable. Hay agua purificada, pava eléctrica, microondas y heladera! Además hay una cocina/comedor de uso común súper bien equipada con licuadora, tostadora, cocina, utensilios de cocina! Un lujo! Y lo mejor es la atención de Nathalie siempre pendiente de todo, y Johana también, súper simpáticas y te hacen sentir en tu casa! Y la frutilla de la torta es su perrita Coca y las dos yeguas que andan por el jardín y te dan mucho afecto!!! Sin dudas, súper súper súper recomendado!!!

If we ever decide to come back to visit Belize, this will be our choice to stay. The comfy cabin Is at the very end of the island. It was peaceful and being able to sit out on the dock every morning watching the local fisherman go by and as well as sunsets it’s the perfect place to get away and relax. Very close to town by either bicycle or golf cart. We enjoyed our time very much.

This place is SO cute. Tip of the hat for the architecture and design choices, wow. If you like staying in really cute places, this is it (don’t laugh: cuteness is one of my AirBNB prerequisites!). It is right next to the air strip and you’ll hear planes if you’re at “home” during the day. Each airplane takes like 5 seconds to take off or land so it’s not a big deal at all. This location is not near the hustle/bustle of Caye Caulker. Personally, I like this because I love crushing my step count on vacation, and I also prefer to sleep away from the noise (no airplanes land at night). But if you don’t like walking, not a problem: there are tons of bikes to borrow, and it’s extremely easy to grab a taxi golf cart. The pool was so welcome after a long, hot day. I really liked the place! It’s a bit far from things, so just know that if it’s important to you to be near stuff.

Wow! What a fantastic place! Everything you need to stay on the property and enjoy the sea, the pool, the scenery, in a private setting with a fully stocked kitchen and all appliances to make any meal you choose. With the wraparound deck, rooftop deck, and pool deck you can enjoy all the views. Especially loved the hammocks - on the deck and at the pool! Laying in the hammock in the evening staring up at the stars with the soft outdoor lighting was heaven. It is close enough to town to bike, walk or be picked up to enjoy the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Max picked us up at the ferry, took us to get groceries, and made sure we felt comfortable when we got there. He was always available when we asked or set up a time for ride into or from town. Max was friendly and helpful. We have stayed many places and this place had everything we loved about all of the other places wrapped into one. We were able to truly disconnect and enjoy this beautiful place.Cannot recommend highly enough!
