Monthly Rentals in Carne

We absolutely loved staying at The Lodge. It was so dog friendly and our puppy loved the secure garden and the outdoor shower was really practical for her! The location is perfect if you want to explore the Roseland Peninsula, enjoy the views, peaceful countryside and country walks right on your doorstep. The Lodge had everything we needed for a long weekend. It was clean, well designed and the beds were really comfy! Chris and his family are really welcoming and there if you have questions or want recommendations but you also have your own privacy too. We would really recommend and would love to come back!

Karen is an amazing host. So friendly and welcoming. Easy and prompt communication. Very comfortable chalet with private gardens, everything you need. Great location - beautiful village, shop and pub very close. Good bus connection to Portloe with entertaining bus driver. We spent a few days walking the south west coast path - stunning stretch of coast. Hope to return soon.

We had a great stay. It was a really nice little cottage in a rural location which is just what we were looking for, and dog friendly too. We arrived very late at night after driving down after work and it was a little tricky to find the Google maps link provided took us to the wrong location which was compounded by it being the middle of the night and very dark! The what three words link took us to the right place, and we easily found the lock box and got into the accommodation. Minor thing would be it could be useful to have more condiments, herbs, oil that kind of thing provided as there is not much in terms of shops etc around, but it was advertised as such so this is not a complaint but more a suggestion. There was no proper frying pan but a pancake pan, which was odd and not possible to make scrambled eggs or fry anything on, but again just an observation. All in all a great place and a great stay, a few nice touches would elevate it but it's great value & we would stay again!

The Hideaway was absolutely gorgeous! What a stunning place to stay! The Hideaway is as published on the AirBnb site, the host has thought of every little thing and there was nothing that we didn’t have. It was a home away from home and definitely felt homely and cosy. Would 100% recommend and we cannot wait to return! It was perfectly situated in Portscatho and so lovely to have somewhere so central to enjoy the shops, restaurant and of course the beach! Thank you so much to Sarah for this wonderful stay!
