Monthly Rentals in Carnes

I stayed in the cottage for just over a week. The house was clean and quite spacious for being just one bedroom. There is TONS of storage - a large dresser in the bedroom, two large closets, bookshelves with room for your own stuff, and a large cabinet in the dining area just outside the kitchen. The desk and recliner were much appreciated as well. The cottage sits behind a larger house which is also a vacation rental, and there is a RV on the property which seems to have full-time residents. These are both enough of a distance away that privacy is not compromised. The previous reviewer mentioned having an issue with flies in the kitchen area, but we had no flies or other insects so that has apparently been addressed. My only wish would be for the cottage to have a somewhat larger sofa in the living room. That's a small concern and I'd stay here again without hesitation.

This was by far the best air bnb we have ever stayed at! Robin goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and you don’t have to worry about a thing. Her home set up anticipates your needs before you even know you had them. We loved swinging on the porch swing in the morning with a cup of coffee, watching the cows and listening to nature. It was so peaceful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs but this was absolutely an amazing place. It was secluded, peaceful and had everything we needed for our visit. We had the best time sitting outside on the large back porch and watching the turtles and other creek critters enjoy the Mississippi spring. Even the rain was a welcome experience. The thick lush forest around us came alive as the rain tapped hypnotically on the tin roof. I will book this place for all my down home visits. Thank you Lee! You thought of everything!
