Holiday rentals with lake access in Caroga Lake

First of all, a 1 o’clock check in started us off on a very happy note. Then, having room for each female to have her own bed made a for peaceful stay. The biggest thing was how much the space was warm, comforting, and full of character. The sliders provided a broad view of the lake. The kitchen with the open area to dining and front area provided an open concept feel to an older home while maintaining its true character. The tall cabinets contained every utensil/small appliance that we needed and more. We brought a bag of board games as we know what we like, but there was a great variety already there. While there was plenty of room, we felt “together” in that space. We can only imagine the beauty that arrives later in spring. Thank you for having us!

We had a great time at Rocky Lodge! The lakeside setting is unmatched. We loved fishing off the dock, swimming off the dock, paddling around the bay and listening to the loons. The house and boathouse were clean and comfortable, check-in and communication were easy. We'd like to come back!

This was the perfect spot for our trip. Very convenient to get to town (10 minute drive) and super comfortable living room and bedrooms. The views of the lake were lovely. Everything at this property was easy to find and use. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was amazing, just like the photos! Had plenty of room for the two of us along with our Daughter and our two Grandchildren. The girls enjoyed the hot tub, and swimming in the lake! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to rent for their vacation! My only wish was it was on the water! I love looking out the window to see the water!

Kyle was the best host ever!!! he let us re-book another one of his properties smoothly when we found we had more people wanting to come on the trip than we originally thought. The place was even better than we thought and we all had so much fun. Definitely recommend booking with Kyle 100% and we will try to book with him in the future if we can.

A beautiful spot! We enjoyed overlooking the water at sunrise and sunset. Lucy is a wonderful host and made us feel welcome.

EXCEPTIONAL! We can't say enough about how perfect our stay was. The Lake House is amazing. Great view, cozy, super clean. You can't ask for more. Will definitely come back and recommend highly.

It was a perfect place for 2. The home was beautiful inside and out. The property was well maintained and attractive. The setting was stunning. Having kayaks available was a bonus. Inside, nothing was missed. Communication was clear and simple; they offered good suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. Would definitely return!

This was our second time staying here and just as the first, it was exactly what we needed. Clean home, and proactive communication.

Bernie was a great host. He met us to greet us and check us in and show us around the place because it is a little unique. The house is wonderful and oozes with history. There are a couple things about the set up of the unit to be aware of. The kitchen is completely enclosed within the house so there are no windows and no way to exhaust fumes - just be aware of this so you do not unwittingly set off the smoke alarm and disturb the neighbors in adjacent units. Also, the door to the bathroom, which is between the two bedrooms within the cottage unit doesn't lock, so you will need to come up with a system to alert your travel partners when someone is using the bathroom to avoid walking in on each other. Other than those two points for awareness, though, everything else is great. The bedrooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, the linens are pristine, the kitchen has everything you need, and the house is right by Otsego Lake and only a block from Main St. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a great place for vacation stay - clean and well maintained. Close to a lot of places, attractions, malls, and a variety of restaurants in the area. Joe is a great host - helped us with check in and made sure we are comfortable. We highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Melody Manor. The unit was immaculate and had everything you need. The view was fabulous! We were there in the off season so it was quiet - but, just what we were looking for. I can see how this would be a great place to stay in the summer - pool, tennis/pickle ball, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Very happy with Rose and how responsive she was - will definitely consider staying here again if we are back in Lake George!

Jemmas place was absolutely beautiful, the nature and the animals are so lovely, everyone on the farm is good people, very lovely over all would recommend!

The apartment was located in a great area and was walkable to downtown and the restaurants. Once we arrived, we didn't have to move the car.

John’s place was set in a beautiful location and both John and Valerie were friendly and attentive. Would recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway!

This was our second time staying at this Airbnb and I can't wait to go again. Beautiful area, patio with lake view.... Super clean and very welcoming! Highly recommend it

We just spent 3 wonderful nights at Lisa’s house. The view was absolutely amazing! Everything was great. Very helpful when we asked questions and was very accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer but had to get back to work. Would definitely rent this house again

This is a place you would want to come back over and over again. So serene and relaxing place, Perfect for the whole family!The moment you walk in ,you will fall in love with it. We had a great time! Jonathan was very responsive and answered every questions. Jonathan knew we were coming for fishing and since the weather was not cooperating he allowed us to check in earlier. His flexibility was appreciated by my husband who caught 3 huge bass the first day! The place is exactly how it is described. Perfect for a couple’s getaway. We enjoyed the scenery and felt relaxed and rejuvenated. Home is well stocked and clean. Great board game collection for fun evenings. Saratoga Springs is 35 minutes away for great restaurants and night life but plenty of local restaurant and pizzerias 10 to 15 minutes away. Overall great place with great host! We will definitely be back! Thank you again Jonathan for everything!
