Perfect location, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and a fabulous bakery. Within easy reach of Blacksod Lighthouse, Don Briste Sea Stack, The Ceide Fields and Croagh Patrick. The host was in regular contact and the welcome scones were a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Lovely peaceful area overlooking the water. Great to have breakfast and stare out onto the ocean. Loads of beaches and nearby attractions. Nice big house perfect for families.

Imagine enjoying a traditional Irish cottage surrounded by the rugged beauty of Co. Mayo and warmed by a turf fire. It was the experience of a lifetime for us capped off by the excellent communication and warm reception by Beatrice and Brendan. We hope to visit Tigh Aine again soon.

We stayed for a week and on arrival were immediately impressed with the location, surroundings and how clean and welcoming the place was. The house is well stocked with whatever might be needed for cooking and Freeda made sure to check we had what we may need during our stay. We found the area tranquil with plenty of peace and quiet and as others have mentioned, the back is entirely enclosed and very suitable for dogs. While there are local walks, a bit of research prior to arrival shows there is plenty to do within a short drive away. We would highly recommend a stay in this lovely part of the country.
