Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cawsand

Close to the beach and a lovely pub /restaurant. The large kitchen table was ideal for our family get together. Very peaceful location we would love to return.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

I don’t think the pictures did this place justice- it was absolutely beautiful and homey and had everything we needed, including the comfiest bedding I’ve ever slept in. We were given great recommendations and the communication was quick, friendly and helpful. We did have a few woodlouse and even a beetle in the house but we were warned and there’s repellants so there wasn’t much more that the host could’ve done. The area was so peaceful and it was a perfect break from normal life. Wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

Cannot recommend this place enough. What a beautiful home. So unique and quirky. You find something different and new in every room. Really nice decor. Great location and close to everything. Spotlessly clean and literally like home from home. All you could need. The bathrooms are so big and such high quality attention to detail. The host was excellent. Very responsive to messages and very very accommodating to requests. Would 💯 stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Plymouth. Luckily my daughter is here for the next few years in uni 😁

We had a lovely stay as a group of 6 adults. Staff were lovely and went the extra mile. The house we stayed in was exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we would need. Would recommend to others.

Staying at Daryl’s was perfect, he always responded to any messages I had sent to him within a short window, and was kind enough to leave us some Prosecco and chocolate as a welcome gift! The place was immaculate and exactly like the photos, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone else.

Lovely house with much British flair! Very clean, quite spacious, many conveniences. We loved being in the middle of Dartmoor and enjoyed some evening walks between the ponies!

Lovely house, stunning views, a fun time for our family weekend, the walk to the beach was tougher than I expected but well worth it. We had a big problem with hot water which was on a timer which had no control over, off at 9am so only 3 out of 10 managed a hot shower, then it didn’t come on again til late afternoon, no chance of a hot shower after the hot tub, after a couple of texts the next day the boost was activated for extra hour in the morning, this needs to be thought through when there are 10 of you, also I wonder Charlotte if you could provide a couple of bar stalls, there is no way you can fit 10 around that table comfortably, however the house is in a beautiful and quiet setting and certainly had the wow factor, thank you Charlotte x

Polly’s place was in a great, central location in Ashburton, but also quiet and peaceful, which was ideal for us both, very cosy and comfortable for a couple.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely flat. It was situated in an ideal location for both the Hoe/seafront and the city centre. The flat was well equipped and warm and the parking space was a real bonus. William was attentive , asking us if we had arrived safely and if everything was okay. He responded immediately when we had a minor problem. The welcome goodies were much appreciated. Thank you, we will be visiting again.

Such a lovely place, Jackie and John always on site. Peaceful and very well looked after grounds. The apartment was very clean and looked after. Will definitely return.

We had the perfect couple of days by the sea. Kerrie’s place is cosy, brilliantly designed and the bed is sooo comfortable. Exactly what we needed to relax and wake up to the sound of the ocean waves. Kerrie was really helpful with local recommendations and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We will definitely be back, we loved Kingsand and Cawsand!

Jack was clearly looking out for us and saw immediately what we needed (getting the bikes stored and getting out of the rain). He is obviously proud of his place and its history, and showed a real passion for it whilst being sensitive to our energy levels. There's a generosity here too (Neal's Yard toiletries) and a flair for decoration (Iain's speciality), giving the house a quirky, homely feel whilst respecting its history. Breakfast was reasonably-priced and beautifully presented. We loved every minute of our stay here.

Upon booking Freya was amazing. She sent the perfect amount of information about how to find the house, where to park, things to do etc. I received a call on the day to say that we could check in early. The house and the location were amazing. Very well done with lots of character. Just steps away from the shops, pubs and restuarants with amazing sea views from the house and the garden which sits above / behind the house. I would recommend this home to anyone. Thanks Freya!

We had a peaceful few days here. The place is modern with all equipment we need to a high standard. You can tell that thought and care has gone into the design of the place. The bedroom and bathroom are particular highlights due to the spaciousness. Very clean throughout. Would recommend for a place to stay.

This flat was absolutely perfect for us. Incredible views of beautiful Looe. Nice and close to shops, restaurants, harbour etc. The flat had everything we needed and was very clean. We would 100% stay again. Thank you Kelly.

the place was perfect ! so close to the beautiful town of looe, and even on a wet day we had , there was loads of films and games for the kids to keep them entertained, the views are blinding aswell as got the forest and sea view, robert was excellent and responsive, will definitely be looking to come back down in the summer ☀️

Very friendly and great communication. Spacious bedrooms that are clean and tidy and are well glazed to minimise traffic noise from the main road. The property is situated near loads of amenities in Plymouth and was easy and quick to get to. The views from the rooms were lovely, tranquil and ever changing with the tide and weather. Just be mindful that to get those views there are loads of steps! There are binoculars in the main bedroom to spot wildlife when the tide is out. There aren’t any bins in the bedrooms or bathroom so had to use my dogs unused poo bags so be prepared. There is a lay-by for locals parking (3 cars) which is straight off the busy main road. I couldn’t park at the back of the property as my SUV was too big to get the right angle to park (as it’s a fairly busy narrow lane) so if you have a small-ish car you’ll be fine. Overall a lovely bungalow to base yourself in Plymouth but just be prepared for the steps and parking.

We had a wonderful stay, the views and surrounding area are stunning. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing short break in the sunshine, wish we could have stayed longer - perhaps next year as would love a return visit! Thanks

Despite bad weather and a couple of power cuts we had a lovely few days away. The property felt private and not overlooked and was well equiped with everything we needed in the kitchen. A lovely beach is a short walk away, we also took a short drive into looe for a cuppa and cake. We would definitely stay longer next time.

Beautiful house, thoughtfully decorated and a pleasure to spend time in. It is also huge so lots of space to make yourself at home. All appliances, white goods etc in perfect working order and all furniture comfortable and tidy, linens and towels very clean etc. The house throughout was very clean. Parking permits available on arrival so very easy and we had no issues with parking during our week long stay. Easy to walk to the seafront, shopping mall, aquarium etc and we enjoyed the walks. Very small asks would be to provide more dinner plates, side plates and bowls. As a family of 5 we went through everything in a day but it’s not enough to fill the dishwasher so no break from washing up on hols! A few basics like salt, pepper, oil would be welcomed to help with home cooking. As I said very small asks. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home away from home for anyone travelling to Plymouth.

Our family had a good stay, there was plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 infants. The garden was really spacious and we enjoyed use of the fire pit, BBQ, trampoline and hot tub. The only downside was the kitchen was a bit small for us, as we cooked the majority of meals at home and ordered a big food shop for a week, which we had to split between the two kitchens (upstairs and downstairs). Walkable to Princetown where there are local facilities and amenities, plus driving to many nice places on the moors, but roads are narrow and can take some time to get places, being in the heart of Dartmoor.
