Large, secluded chalet at an altitude of 860 m, surrounded by a large plot of land. Located 1 hour 15 minutes from Toulouse, this is the perfect place for a peaceful stay in Ariège! Several easy walks starting right from the gîte. Many hikes nearby. Summer: Hiking, canoeing, canyoning, climbing, mountain biking, etc. Winter: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, alpine skiing (access to the Bonascre Ax-les-Thermes ski resort with pistes 30 minutes away). Access to the Beille plateau (cross-country skiing) 50 minutes away.

Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. There is a wood-burning stove for the winter. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

Our very spacious house ( classified 3* ) is located in a small village at the foot of the mountains, 18 km from the resort of Monts d 'Olmes and 7 minutes from the castle of Montségur.
