“The pictures do not do this cabin justice. The living room and kitchen is well enough to entertain. The bedroom could easily sleep three or four. Everything that you would need is already at this cabin waiting for you, from the pots and pans down to the extra blankets, shampoos, cooking staples, detergent, dryer sheets, etc. We came under packed and that was never an issue for the entire stay. The front and back porches make for a lovely sit-a-spell experience. The fire pit outback was put to good use on our trip (though grab some soon before it rains) Overall, being from this small town originally, I didn’t expect such a charming and clean place to stay in for a visit back home. I was so glad to have checked AirBnB and to have found this. Like many other, I will be returning.”

“Upon first arrival, the air was not working, but Lindsey got it taken care of very quickly. That left me with a good impression. The cabin is very comfortable with a front & back porch the full length of the cabin. The back porch is covered & has a picnic table on it. The front porch has chairs, rocking chairs & a swing, which was a blessing for the little ones. We had plenty of room for 5 adults & 5 grandkids (2 under 2 years old.) & two dogs. The walls are solid & you barely hear a crying baby. The older grandkids, ages 12, 9, & 7 slept in the orphanage, as they called it. LOL That's the upper loft above the dining room with several twin beds in a row. They enjoyed that space at bedtime. Our bed was comfortable. We liked the bath towels. Has a large tv, with plenty of options. We all liked the place & location. We spent a good amount of time on the water. Had perfect weather for a change....usually rains when I plan vacation. We brought most of our food, with having to make only a few trips to Dollar General & one to the grocery store. It has most everything you need for an enjoyable stay. One thing though, no dishwasher....that was okay for us.....we survived. It's very close to Mitchell Creek Marina & Standing Stone State Park. We take a family vacation every year & hope to get back there again sometime soon. Thank you, Lindsey!”

“We had a great experience here! There are so many thoughtful additives that they have incorporated into this cute little property. My mom, sister, and I came for a get away to celebrate her 60th and we had a blast. Lucy took us on a hike through the trials and was a great leader. She was so adorable, and checked in us a couple times during our stay. Hot tub was great, and the king bed upstairs was AMAZING, so comfortable, we slept like babies. The only thing we think that could have been better was more lighting on the porch, especially because turning on the only light next to the back door attracts 5 million bugs and they get into the house. We had to move an indoor light outside. If you book here, it would be worth it to bring a lantern with you for extra light.”
