Earth house holiday rentals in Central America

The views, at least in the dry season, are unbeatable. There is a full view of the Arenal volcano from the window of the bed and from the porch. Karen is very friendly and very nice. He helped us with several excursions and gave us very useful tips on things to do in the area. I was always on the lookout for what we might need. We were very comfortable and if we come back it is a place that we will definitely repeat.

Very great place where you feel right at home! We had great conversations and you can really highly recommend it:) from there we made excursions to Carara National Park and to a crocodile/bird boat tour. What you should know is that there is only cold water in the shower but with the warm temperatures that was no problem at all.

Absolutely beautiful and so romantic. WiFi is a little portable spot. If there are other guests you have to share.

The place is really spectacular! The house feels very homely, the hikes are perfect for a morning hike and the host was excellent and very communicative. Highly recommended for the entire AIRBNB community.

Jeff’s house is a perfect spot for the Costa Rican jungle experience right outside of the main town. The location right next to the beach was great for our group. We spent every night hanging out on the deck. Jeff himself was accommodating and very kind, he sent us some great places to eat in town. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This house was wonderful. We came as a family of five but could have fit so many more. The silampa, forest reserve and the waterfall are all a short drive away. We found the house to be exactly as picture, and Israel helped us check into the house and

Nice place to stay with beautiful views

The Clouds of the Pital, give what it offers and more, it is an excellent option to connect with nature, the super cool climate, the attention of Tobias and his wife is the best, they are friendly and attentive. It is a different option, being ecological, but totally recommended, it is a unique experience and we can repeat it again, we spend it with peace, quiet, and like at home.

Amazing Airbnb. The house is clean, perfectly situated and has all the right amenities (AC, Pool, on the beach, quiet street, large open kitchen, lounging areas, gorgeous landscaping, comfortable and clean bedrooms, 10 min walk or 2 min drive to restaurants). It is an excellent spot for a couple or a group of 10 people. The owners / house manager definitely built and maintain this place with care and attention. we just got back from Madre Selva and I am not sure I can find the words. Unique, peaceful, private and the most beautiful location with unforgettable views of jungle, whale's tail beach, ocean and sunrises. The house has everything you need and more. Carolina and her husband are the nicest and the most welcoming people and their breakfasts and dinners were so delicious. They took a such good care of us, organizing everything and helping us with everything we needed. we felt right at home the moment we arrived. Amazing memories ❤️ thank you so much! Pura Vida 🌴

Kris and Marie are such lovely hosts that they have to be mentioned first! These guys are authentic, helpful, open minded and friendly so that we enjoyed every chat with them. They built the house with their own hands and you'll see it in every single detail. It is so cozy and the environment and the view from the kitchen and the terasse is stunning! It's absolutely with it to spend more time at this place then just sleeping at night and having breakfast. By the way the breakfast is sooo delicious and Kris and Marie were always flexible regarding earlier times or special dishes for our baby 😊 We also loved their sustainable and modern approach for everything they do. Cassandra was an exceptional host, probably the best host I’ve had on Airbnb. She was very proactive about communication leading up to the trip, as well as during the trip, leading to 0 doubts about anything for the entire stay. Her home is beautiful, well kept, and looks exactly like the pictures, within walking distance of everything in the town center. The housekeeper was very kind as well, and made us feel welcomed and at home. You will have a wonderful time staying there. Thank you Cassandra!

Stayed here for 6 nights while exploring San Cristobal and felt so at home in this cozy, beautiful little cabin. It was the perfect size for my partner and I. Easy walk to town with amazing street food along the way back home at night! We really enjoyed how quiet the location was being a bit outside of town. Rosario was SO kind and always responsive. We felt so welcomed! One of our favorite air b&bs we’ve stayed in.

Francine and Marlene were lovely and we had the most incredible stay. The pictures on site do not do it justice, their cottages are cozy, beautifully decorated and have all the items needed. This by far was also the cleanest pool I ever had the pleasure of using! The location is perfect, close to Ochio Rios, close to alot of shopping restaurants etcetera. Even with the close proximity to all these places you felt like you were in a private oasis. Thank you Francine and Marlene we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Much love Pauline and Romaine

We stayed in the Lil Negril cottage and loved it! It is set back in the garden and is quiet, private, and lovely. Amenities like a firm, comfortable mattress, always available WIFI, being able to cook in the cottage and the private patio out back made Lil Negril such a nice home for a week. We were hosted by Marlene and found her to be a perfect host. Kind, thoughtful and available if we needed it. We felt completely safe at the resort, with a locked and bolted gate. We also really enjoyed walking around the area. We could walk to the beach, the grocery store, a couple small markets and a couple restaurants. Everyone we met on our walks was friendly. Taxis were easy to get or arrange and two of the drivers we found lived in the neighborhood, which was great! We found the Jamaicans in Runaway Bay to be some of the nicest local people we've met on vacation. Thank you, Marlene for a beautiful vacation to your resort and to Runaway Bay.

We loved our time at this beautiful earthen home! It was so lovely to be greeted by the sun each morning through the ceiling window of the dome🌞 we really enjoyed the earthy and homemade features of the dome, especially the shower! There are friendly horses for neighbors and very quiet and peaceful surroundings. The location is a bit off the beaten path, so highly recommend renting a vehicle if you stay here!

The wonderful place, beautiful cabin, very nice and well-maintained gardens, swimming pool and even a small waterfall in the interior space. In the place we connected very much with nature, and the silence and privacy helped us to make a super evening, added to the excellent attention they gave us. Don't miss the 5-star breakfast!!! Recommendation, plan well to bring your food as there are no restaurant options nearby (pizza only). Totally recommendable.

We loved Casa Malaga! It's a hidden oasis that our family really enjoyed. It was well decorated, spotlessly clean, and really added to our overall vacation. The outdoor backyard was great to just read in while the kids played in the plunge pool. We will definitely be back!
