Excellent space for a 15 person board gaming get together. Excellent layout for playing downstairs, lounging and eating on the main floor, and good space upstairs which worked great as a getaway. If it’s available next year we are definitely coming back.

Kevin and Jamie were so responsive and helpful! So so kind!!! Truly a peaceful place - I can not wait to visit again!!

The farmhouse exceeded expectations! So cozy, nice size, well decorated, private, and has everything needed. This house feels loved. Very enjoyable, very grateful to stay there and just what we needed.

We stay at the White Wolf Inn and apartment at least annually and every year it is a great experience. Thank you Mark for making our travel experience pleasant every time!

The house was very nice and clean. Beautiful holiday decorations. Highly recommend for 2 people. Backyard was smaller than expected and was not large enough for dogs. The owners were very quick to respond! Definitely would book again.

We had a good time and enjoyed the space. Convenient quarter mile off the highway so a quick zip up to Iowa City. Private and spacious lodgings which were plenty for our family of three. Only place where I’d knock off points is the aroma. Do know that the house is attached to a horse barn—as in you can see it through the downstairs window—so expect an adjustment period to that smell. Wasn’t a deal breaker for us, but I guess I didn’t read closely about that. I suppose it’s a true farm vibe that way! All in all a quality stay.

Had a great stay. Kelly and Betty made us feel right at home. Plenty of room for the 4 of us and for our two trucks and boats. Beautiful piece of property.

The cutest little cottage in such a peaceful area! The perfect place for a chill girls weekend getaway with a perfect hot tub and fire pit. The hosts were helpful through a storm and the power going out but also respectful of privacy. 10/10 would recommend!

We loved our stay! The log home feels welcoming, warm, and cozy—especially on a bleak midwinter weekend. There's a large dining space and a kitchen equipped with what looks like brand-new flatware and utensils. The beds, linens, and towels are soft and comfortable, and we appreciated the private loft space for reading and working. On the last day of our visit, Lauren gave us a private tour of the farm. She amazed us with her breadth of knowledge about farming, Illinois soils, ecology, cheesemaking, and goat care. And, oh, those goats! So sweet and friendly and curious to meet us. In hindsight, I wish we had visited after the kidding so we could've helped bottle-feed all the babies. That happens late March, Lauren says. After our tour, we ate scrumptious brunch at Caprae, the adjacent farm-to-table restaurant. It was the perfect end to a short but memorable getaway.

Pumpkin creek farms, was such a beautiful property! From the views far surrounding to, the beautiful interior of farmhouse style. Curt was always so friendly and responsive when we had questions right away, I will suggest this to anyone and everyone!

Big Texas THANK you! Just absolutely loved this location! We were up just to visit friends, location was fantastic, kid loft was great, my puppy loved the little pond! Daughter loved the horses and horseback riding lessons with Gretchen! Absolutely felt right at home, definitely will be coming back for a stay!

We were needing a private feeling place with a great view just outside of the busy life and this place fit our wants very well. we greatly need a lil vaca in a stay like this. Great hidden gem in our eye's. We will definitely be asking to rent again down the road 😁

We had such a fun night away at Ambers! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner. We used the hot spot on our phone and brought a laptop to stream Netflix during our stay. The hot tub was perfect to unwind & the chicken and cats were such a sweet surprise. The shower was amazing and we slept great in the bed. The linens were so comfortable! 10/10, will be back. 😍

I'm not an advide camper. I took my sister with me to get a weekend away from family. Julie was on top of all my concerns and questions. I may have been too annoying. so I'm sorry if I was. However, if she'll have me I'd love to bring my family back for next spring. perfect for light camping.

Our stay at Red River Farms in Eureka, IL, was nothing short of magical! Whether you're looking to unwind by the firepit, enjoy a morning coffee on the porch, or explore the local area, this place has it all. We can't wait to come back! We were very impressed with our stay! It made being away from home a little easier. Katie was very friendly, and was quick to respond when needed. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to the area.

We enjoyed our stay in this very unique house. Our primary need was a place to stay for a couple days, but beyond the accommodations, the house had interesting nooks-and-crannies and odds-and-ends that we had fun exploring.

It was cute, very well decorated and easy to find. The bed was comfortable. Walking distance to restaurant in T-town and a short drive to Effingham. Would definitely recommend and book again

Such a great place if you want to escape the busy city life or are on the road. It’s quiet and cozy. Kitchen has everything you need. We felt very well rested after a good night sleep. Would stay again on our next road trip.

The Canal is a Beautiful Home and felt so homie, the surrounding area was so peaceful, I felt like I was in my own home. Very clean, well kept and organized. Definitely reminds me of one of many “Hallmark” Movies I have watched. When U look out the bedroom windows U see goats and horses when they come around, we even had a cat come and visit us. Definitely will be back this yr. Aaron is a very Pleasant and caring Host and made sure we knew how to contact her if anything was needed or she has a book with numbers for emergencies and telling about the canal. Love It.

The layout of the house was perfect for our large group! With the open floor plan, we could easily talk between the two floors without having to go up and down the stairs.

Loved our stay at this little slice of heaven! Although you are on the same property as the owners, the stay was super peaceful and quiet, and they didn't bother us a bit. The cabin was super clean and you can't beat the serenity of the location. We will be back!
