Had the most amazing stay at Base Camp with the loveliest hosts. The stars ✨ at night were spectacular. Combine that with the outside bath and a glass of wine and you have a core memory! We loved visits from the fur friends, and treats from the farm like the delicious olives, honey and rusks. It has everything you need in terms of amenities. The farm has breathtaking views and a hike you can take to the peak. We loved exploring the area. Our host suggested the Tulbagh Nursery and it ended up being such a treat and we had to drive a forest 🌳 back home 😂 We found an easy and short hike to a waterfall and rock pools to swim in. One of our favourite stops in the morning was at Kole & Deeg. The have great coffee and pasteis de natas. We will definitely be returning!!

What a wonderful weekend away. This is the perfect place to come to for a few days if you just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It's so peaceful on the farm, no sound of cars or loud music. Not another person in sight! A beautiful home with lots of bathrooms and also a great place to braai (This is a must if you go away for a weekend). The home was beautiful and clean, with all the items that you would require while on holiday. A brand new toothbrush in the packaging , as well as toothpaste were also available (something guests often forget, so those little extra touches were wonderful. But without a doubt, the best feature was the outside shower (with hot water). Thanks Candice

Very clean and neat, great kitchen, comfortable bed and nice and spacious room. Felt safe and the check in process was very easy. We arrived during loadshedding and the lights and wifi were battery powered, which was very helpful. Would recommend 🙌🏼

What a wonderful place to stay! Kevin and Max (his doggo) were amazing hosts. There is a dam a short walk over the road- what a serene swim! Beautiful surrounding mountains and scenery- it really is spectacular. Kevin's brother also supplied us with a delicious ciabatta loaf on arrival- thank you! We would highly recommend stopping here en route to CT or elsewhere, or even just a get away for a few days.
