Le Ruault: Poplar House (Loire Valley)

Le Ruault is close to the chateaux of the Loire valley and plenty of excellent vineyards. A tranquil space in which to relax and breathe, great for couples, families and big groups (when rented with Orchard Cottage). Poplar House sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms (1 double bedroom; the other three can all be set up as a large double or two singles). There are 7 acres (2.5 hectares) of grounds to relax in, including an outdoor pool (shared with Orchard Cottage and heated mid-May to mid-September).

This farmhouse is located at the gates of Anjou. Winegrowers and village five minutes away. You can enjoy the Puy-du-Fou 55 minutes away, the Futuroscope is 1h20 away, the first castles of the Loire are 30 minutes away, the Doué-en-Anjou biopark is 20 minutes away, karting seven minutes away, Parc de la Vallée 10 minutes away, canoeing, cycling, hiking... You can go and collect eggs from the henhouse and feed the chickens. Our horses are close to the house. Pets allowed if well behaved!

Montsoreau Chinon Loire Valley.

In Montsoreau, one of the "most beautiful villages" of France, amazing views, and small shops within walking distance; located between Saumur and Chinon! Famous castles, abbeyes, exceptional gardens, white, red and bubbly wineries, most of them within 10 to 60 min. The house is perfect for one or two couples, but can welcome 6 guests. Market every week, small grocery store, butcher, bakery, 4 restaurants in the village. Great antique market once a moth on the banks of the Loire.

A little piece of paradise in the village. An old building, in a small village, labeled with charm and character. A fully renovated gîte for you to enjoy. A large and generous green garden where you can stroll and rest. The Loire and its discovery trails are just around the corner. A region rich in castles, vineyards, open-air cafes. Ideally located in a quiet historic district of Saumur, a ten-minute walk to the city center, your accommodation is furnished with great care, in an outbuilding of our house, in the heart of a charming garden enclosed by walls. The cottage is arranged as a studio, with a large living room, kitchen area and separate bathroom. The toilet is in the bathroom. Everything is on one level and overlooks the garden. Free public parking in front of the property.

In summer only (June, July, August, September) we offer an extra room with 4 single beds in the garden level of the house (independent access, not suitable for children under 8 years old). The house is a peaceful, friendly and comfortable place to stay.

You'll love my place because of the location and the ambiance. It is an old house made of tuffeau stone located in the heart of a troglodyte courtyard. The gîte has a fitted and very well-equipped kitchen but also an outdoor courtyard with terrace (barbecue, garden furniture). My place is good for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends.
