Located in the Anjou wine region, this rustic 100m2 cottage equipped with all modern amenities is part of an old winegrowers property called 'Closerie Les Roches' that includes two other cottages. We are close to charming villages and towns such as Montreuil-Bellay and Saumur. Visit local wineries, explore famous Loire valley castles, visit the award-winning Doué-la-Fontaine zoo or just stroll among the vines right outside the property. We also offer dinner for our guests twice a week.

Le Ruault: Poplar House (Loire Valley)

Le Ruault is close to the chateaux of the Loire valley and plenty of excellent vineyards. A tranquil space in which to relax and breathe, great for couples, families and big groups (when rented with Orchard Cottage). Poplar House sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms (1 double bedroom; the other three can all be set up as a large double or two singles). There are 7 acres (2.5 hectares) of grounds to relax in, including an outdoor pool (shared with Orchard Cottage and heated mid-May to mid-September).

This farmhouse is located at the gates of Anjou. Winegrowers and village five minutes away. You can enjoy the Puy-du-Fou 55 minutes away, the Futuroscope is 1h20 away, the first castles of the Loire are 30 minutes away, the Doué-en-Anjou biopark is 20 minutes away, karting seven minutes away, Parc de la Vallée 10 minutes away, canoeing, cycling, hiking... You can go and collect eggs from the henhouse and feed the chickens. Our horses are close to the house. Pets allowed if well behaved!

Montsoreau Chinon Loire Valley.

In Montsoreau, one of the "most beautiful villages" of France, amazing views, and small shops within walking distance; located between Saumur and Chinon! Famous castles, abbeyes, exceptional gardens, white, red and bubbly wineries, most of them within 10 to 60 min. The house is perfect for one or two couples, but can welcome 6 guests. Market every week, small grocery store, butcher, bakery, 4 restaurants in the village. Great antique market once a moth on the banks of the Loire.

This accommodation located in the small village of Cersay is ideal for spending a few days in the region, located 1 hour from Puy du Fou, 1 hour from Futuroscope and close to the Loire and Saumur! Other nearby activities are also possible: Parc de la Vallée for children, discover the vineyards of Anjou and Layon, the Bioparc Zoo of Doué-la-Fontaine and many more! The village has a Superette with bread delivery and a pharmacy. Don't hesitate to come and visit us!

You'll love my place because of the location and the ambiance. It is an old house made of tuffeau stone located in the heart of a troglodyte courtyard. The gîte has a fitted and very well-equipped kitchen but also an outdoor courtyard with terrace (barbecue, garden furniture). My place is good for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends.

The cottage is not wheelchair accessible.
