Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cheboygan County

We had a wonderful time! Kathleen was extremely helpful and quick at getting back with us. She had everything you needed to make you feel right at home. We had a great time on the pontoon and enjoying the great outdoor space here too. And pet friendly, our pups loved it!!

we had a pool tournament there. the house worked out perfect for me and three other friends. will probably try to run it again if we go to another tournament there.

Amazing place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this Airbnb to others.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We spent the weekend skiing at Boyne Highlands. Having the heated garage to use and the laundry area really helped us with space and gettin organized! Very spacious kitchen and living room, beds were comfortable and the cleanlieness of the entire place was wonderful! This place had everything you needed. I wish we could have stayed much longer!

As a group of 8 we were worried about privacy and space. Once we arrived we were blown away at all the space, the amazing location and amenities. Kyle and Alena were beyond accommodating and helpful. We couldn’t have gotten through the weekend without them and or without the help of their friends and family. We felt like we had been coming to their place for years !! Any questions we had they answered right away and even gave us super helpful tips and advice for our stay ! We really appreciate you all, and cannot wait to return !! 16 out of 10 ;) If you are visiting rent the pontoon boat !! The area has so much to do and see and the price is a steal !

We had an amazing stay. The home is very comfortable and clean. Waking up to the view of the lake was wonderful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We picked the worse weekend ever to sneak away to celebrate my boyfriend's new job. We were so excited to get to Brittany's cottage after a long week of work that we didn't pay much attention to the weekend's weather which happened to include the worse ice storm in 100 years! We ended up losing power and running water and so many trees and power lines were down in the roads that we couldn't leave. We cozied up next to the wood burning stove with some wine and food we made on the gas stove and pretended we were camping. Our weekend wasn't anything like we expected but the cottage was so beautiful and cozy that it made a cold, wintery weekend feel magical even without being able to enjoy most of the amenities. We appreciated Brittany's husband stopping to clear the driveway of fallen trees, dropping off water, hooking up the generator so we could plug a few things in, and helping to get my car out of an icy hole and down the driveway safely. Can't wait to come back! Amazing place!

We absolutely loved out stay here in Wolverine!! We have stayed all over noethen michigan and this was a favortite for all of us, the kiddos especially loving it! There was a trail to walk or bike literally outside the front door and the cutest ice cream/gift shop next door. The beds were soo cozy that none of us wanted to leave them in the am but once we did we all made warm drinks and sat outside to enjoy the very relaxing deck. I could honestly go on and on about how perfect our stay was 😅 totally recommend and hoping we will be back soon for another awesome stay 🥰

5 star out of 5 is not even close!!!! 10 out of 5 would be more accurate. You will not find a cleaner, more well- planned/ use of space, and friendlier hosts. Joanne and Tim went so far above and beyond with so many thoughtful, personal touches. From the fresh baked bread, custom selected wine, painted rock, and hand written thank you card, and it does not stop there. Plain and simple, if you are reading this review, book it now before it's too late, because I will never stay anywhere else if I am in the area. To all other airbnb hosts, these two have set the bar. Good luck even coming close.

Stephanie was a thoughtful host, easy to communicate and quick to respond. The apartment was equipped with everything you'd need and was so warm and cozy from the comfortable beds to the 'Franklin stove' gas heater. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The street was quiet and the grounds were lovely. It turned out that we had a personal connection to Stephanie and her husband which made our stay all the more amiable. I highly recommend staying at "Down the way from Duncan Bay'!

The rooms seem sound-proof to any noises from the road or other guests. The beds are comfy, the showers have great water pressure, there’s plenty of bed and bath linens, a nice sized fridge and the fireplace was a lovely bonus. Very clean and cozy.

The place was the perfect location for what we were looking for. We enjoy Indian River, and we like to be able to walk in town. I am not complaining but to be fair with a review I should mention the bed is a Murphy bed and it squeaks when you move in the night. The unit is attached to the house, and it is not very soundproof between the main house and the rental unit however everything was quiet by 11:00 pm. If I stay in Indian River again, I will stay at Amanda's place again.

Peaceful and so cozy. A beautiful place to stay- we felt right at home. Really a cool place. The bed was so comfortable! Thanks for having us- It’s definitely on our places to return list !
