Equipped with modern appliances that fit the nostalgic cabin vibe: an electric wood burning stove and red retro kitchen appliances complimented by bear & moose accent decor. This is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom private suite that sits on 14 acres. Enjoy the large back deck or walk around our mushroom yard where we grow Log-grown Shiitake Mushrooms. (The largest Log-grown Shiitake Farm in Alabama). This private suite (meaning closed off) from the main house is surrounded by trees and wildlife. We offer a sitting area inside and out, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot tea, lots of closet space, wireless internet, and a large TV with free Netflix.

Cute bungelow with a great screened in porch offering the best sunsets in Birmingham! Clean and comfy with high quality bedding! Much better than your standard hotel room! Full kitchen (stocked with the essentials), washer and dryer, dining room (great for working on your laptop), full bathroom with shower/tub, and bedroom which also has patio access to overlook the valley! Sorry, we do not allow smoking, either inside the condo or outside on the patios.

The Goat Farm Cottage at South of Sanity Farms

This is a great space for a family looking to escape the busyness of life and give the kids a hands on farm experience. Guests can roam around on their own or tag along as we do our daily chores and learn about all of the different animals. There is a pond that you can fish, canoe, kayak, or paddle boat in. We also have a fire pit, above ground pool, and even a chapel to give you the relaxing getaway that we all need from time to time.

The Cottage - 2 miles to I-65

Our property consists of 32 acres, main house, guest house, pool, 2-ponds and pastures. The house and guest house are on the top of a hill overlooking a beautiful pasture. This is a very private property yet only 5 minutes to I-65. The spaces are filled with lots of antiques, beautiful art (for sale) and lots of unique items. The Cottage is one of 4 rentals offered by Green Pastures Getaways.

The Berry Homestead

Home away from home offering a peaceful environment close to UAB football events, Talladega Racetrack, Birmingham attractions etc., beautiful lakes for boating or fishing sites nearby. Has all of the luxuries of a full 2 bedroom, one bath, full kitchen, living room space and a small computer desk to provide a workstation if needed. Back yard deck space is available and grill upon request.
