Holiday rentals with lake access in Chenango County

Our favorite place to go in New York. We love that the cabin has everything we need and is right on the lake. Our entire family enjoys this experience and look forward to coming back every year!!!

Robyn’s Nest was a delightful place. Everything was as described; access to the reservoir with kayaks, fire pit looking out to the sunset, there were lovely kitchen herbs, tomatoes, and peppers, which we picked and cooked with. The inside of the cottage was lovely. Comfy bed, enough kitchen utensils/pots/ spices/coffee/tea to make meals. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels, shampoo, and conditioner!!! I am very picky when it comes to choosing an airbb and this exceeded my expectations. You can tell that Robyn takes good care of the property and wants the guests to feel comfortable and satisfied . I definitely recommend and will return when I’m in the area again. Robyn was lovely, responsive, and helpful. Thank you, Robyn!

This was a quick getaway with my teenage granddaughter that started with a message prior to our arrival from Charlene warning us of a bad storm in the area. She went to the property prior to our arrival making sure we had power; this was very much appreciated! My granddaughter was excited first with the listening and then seeing the accuracy of the photos when she walked in. As mentioned in previous reviews, the cottage is near a main road which is hardly realized. The sounds of the river, birds, and peepers are the focus. From all areas of the home is the view of the river, we ate breakfast at the kitchen table watching for an eagle which finally made an appearance much to our excitement. This place is pristine with a well stocked kitchen. We did not get to use the fire pit because of weather but seems there is everything to have a fire including chairs. We truly enjoyed the peace Wilma provided! We will be back!

Shellie’s place is very quiet and peaceful. It is the perfect space for 2 or 3 people for a multiple day stay. It felt like we were camping due to the large amount of windows and closeness to the water. The walk around the lake is 1.75 miles and a nice thing to do in the morning. You will want to bring in your own food and plan on staying at the house as there is not much around. But in a pinch you can be at a store in about 20 minutes. She is very helpful with questions. We had a nice time and happy with our choice to stay there.

We loved our stay at the Hidden Lakefront. It was a perfect escape from our everyday city environment. Beautiful property and house. The home itself was clean and spacious, very warm for the snowy weekend. I recommend this property for warm or cold getaways!

I had a wonderful stay at this charming cabin! From the moment I arrived, everything was spotless and well-maintained — you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space. The cabin had a warm, cozy feel and all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing retreat. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering great local tips and making sure I felt right at home. Patti even left fresh cut flowers throughout the cabin! Communication was quick and helpful from booking to check-out. I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the cabin — it made my trip even more special. Highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and friendly place to stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Judy's cottage was even more than we could have hoped for. Nothing to be desired. Everything we could need with all the comforts of home. Beautiful peaceful location. Cant wait to go again! Judy truly goes above & beyond to welcome her guests. Even had some snacks & beverages upon arrival. One of the best air bnb's Ive rented!! Ten stars should be an option!

Laurie's place was just wonderful. We love historic houses with a lot of charm and carefully designed interiors with all modern comfort. The surroundings are just so peaceful and serene, so that recovery from NYC life was possible. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to cook for family members near by. All in all we had a wonderful time spend with hiking, cooking and resting. We will love to come back in the summer when we can take advantage of the lake nearby.
