Owls Loft is a self contained holiday cottage with a private outdoor seating area and paddock. In a tranquil, rural setting, with views of the Cheshire Plain, this is a great place to recharge your batteries. It is well located to visit the Peak District, or get the train into Manchester from Macclesfield or Congleton. There are a number of National Trust properties within easy reach, as well as Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, the antique shops of Leek and the pottery towns of Stoke on Trent.
“Sue's place was exactly as described in the other reviews, cosy, clean and homely. We stayed for three nights and could have stayed for more, the layout was a clever use of space which made it the perfect size. Owl's loft was equipped with everything we could have possibly needed, which was great especially as we love cooking when we're away. If you are looking for a walk definitely visit Lud's Church, about a half an hour drive away, Biddulph Grange Garden National Trust is also a must see. One thing I would say is if you were looking to visit a pub for the evening you'd probably have to get a cab as the property is down a lane that wouldn't be ideal to walk down. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay, great location and very homely.”

“Paul was a great host in that his communication was great and kept us in the loop at all times. On arrival the apartment was chilly despite Paul having sent a message earlier saying he’d put the heating on at 4.30pm and that it would be warm for us on arrival. We did discuss this later with Paul and established it was a technical error with the heating. We easily overcame the 8C room temperature by flicking the heating to manual and within an hour the room heated up to a more comfortable 16C. Later in our stay the room temperature went well above 21C. The apartment was clean, tastefully decorated with lovely plush carpeting throughout. The bathroom was modern, big and the shower was hot and powerful. The bedroom was also a good size and it was useful to have a well equipped kitchen. Also the nice touches like biscuits, hot cross buns and beers as well as cereals tea, coffee and milk added to the experience. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this property and thanks again to Paul for his great hospitality.”

“Absolutely stunning and in a beautiful quiet area. Kathryn was really helpful right from the word go with all my requests and queries and then we arrived in this very tastefully furnished cottage....I wish we could have stayed more than one night, the table was set beautifully and the extra touches were so kind like the milk/cakes/fresh fruit/yoghurts etc. The views to front and back were just amazing and could have sat looking at them all day. Book here you will not be disappointed and it was lovely to meet you Kathryn in such turbulent times xx”
