There truly aren’t enough good things to say about our stay at this overwater bungalow! The view over the lagoon was absolutely breathtaking—waking up to that serene turquoise water was a dream come true. The property itself was intimate and peaceful, with lush, unique grounds full of vibrant plants and charming stone paths that added to the magic. We loved how walkable everything was! There were several fantastic restaurants just a short stroll away, and while town was a bit farther, the distance provided the perfect amount of quiet and privacy in this charming neighborhood. The service was top-notch—prompt, attentive, and always delivered with warmth. My only regret? Not taking the time to indulge in a massage. Next time, it’s a must! If you’re looking for a tranquil, unforgettable escape with all the beauty and comfort you could ask for, this is the place. Can’t wait to return!

the room is very large, with air conditioning. the bathroom is very large everything clean. the location is in the entrance of bacalar, so by bike or by car you get to the center in 5 minutes. its very nice beach club is walking from the lagoon... there is no restaurant(it is crossing the street), however there is more father why you put your drinks or your things and enjoy the club without paying. you are lending bikes and kayak.... maybe the only thing would be that you take your life jackets so that you can get more Agusto into the lagoon. but it is very nice... the pool is also very clean only that it is in the part of the accommodation ... and the beach club you have to walk the same... it is pet friendly super friendly all and I felt very comfortable why they respected my pets....

Amazing spot. We were there for the full moon… watching it rise above the lagoon was unforgettable. The best nature retreat yet close to town. Super friendly!!! We had everything we needed. Highly recommend and hope I can return soon.

Very nice house to live in, Claudia welcomed us very warmly and answered any questions we had. The access to the lagoon is superb and we used the kayaks available, a real joy. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is nothing missing, towel+ those for micro fiber swimming, toilet paper, shampoo, shower gel, paper towels, wipes everything, spices, coffee, sugar... Despite the rainy weather at times, we were able to enjoy the covered terrace. Very happy to have occupied this house for a few days!

Very good place for the price. the directions of arrival and departure very clear. It is located in Las.afueras de Bacalar, so it is essential to pay taxi or car wash in order to be able to move to and from the hotel.

We have come to Bacalar probably about six times and this is our favorite accommodation! Right on the lagoon provides kayaks and paddle boards, hooked us up with some tours, was very responsive anytime we asked something. Definitely book this place if it’s open!

Clean and organized. High quality furnitures. Near to the mercados and highway that have multiple restaurants and stores. Walking distance to ADO bus terminal. I recommend a taxi or car going to the center. Thanks for the flexible check in!

Good host, minor confusion while getting our Villa since they sent us a number for one Villa and ended up giving us a different one. Make sure you have the right information or you might have trouble getting access to your Villa. As expected, you will have some insects that are native to the lagoon. Be sure to always store any leftovers in the fridge.
