Palapa Colibris is a 2nd storey apartment with all the amenities needed for longer stays. The apartment is surrounded by windows which open to let in breezes. In the morning you may see hummingbirds, or a toucan. You can also pick limes from the front door. The room is tastefully decorated and comes with eating and sitting area and hammock. Quiet and secure. Its 4 blocks to the square and a 10 minute walk to the local market. Bicycles are available for rent. A new swimming pool has been added .

Spectacular waterfront house with incredible view!

The casita is perfect for couples and families looking to be very much in touch with nature; relax in a hamaca, go paddle boarding, have beautiful sunset dinner in the garden, look at the stars in your bedroom terrace. It is a great place to just “be”, no need to leave the property as it is fully equipped , but in case you want to try the flavor of magic bacalar town it is only a 15 minute drive through beautiful jungle road, it’s a bit bumpy, so drive slowly with windows open and enjoy the ride

Hello everyone! We are a local couple from Bacalar and we love to share this paradise. Our house it is located 2 blocks from the center of town, has a large garden with a private dock, 2 palapas, and 2 apartments facing the lagoon. LAKEFRONT wrap around patio! Lakefront view is amazing. The traditional-roofed Palapa unit with a large wrap around patio for outdoor dining or relaxing. Two thatched windows draw in the breeze. Access to the king-size bed in the loft is by narrow spiral stairs. Down stairs is a trundle bed . The bathroom is also downstairs. . Please understand the Palapa roof is made of natural fibers and CANNOT be air conditioned but plenty of fans! Lakefront. 30 megas of internet.
