Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Chía

Margarita’s country home is a true gem! Surrounded by nature, peaceful, and beautifully maintained — it was the perfect getaway for my family. My kids absolutely loved exploring the outdoors, and we all felt so recharged after our stay. Margarita was a wonderful host, attentive and kind. We’re already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommended!

The hacienda is very nice, has beautiful gardens, it is just like the photos, very quiet and the hosts are super friendly. 100% recommended the accommodation, we hope to return!

We booked the house for a family Christmas and New Year’s vacation. Mary’s house was the perfect fit. She made us feel right at home. We had the greatest time thank you very much to Mary.

Everything was as expected and the friendliness and hospitality were next to none. Everything Karen and Samuel did from offering breakfast service to making us feel at home was more than we could have asked for. However, there are a few things to keep in mind that are just quirks of being in the boonies: the reception is spotty at best inside the house due to the construction materials, and the WiFi is mostly unavailable and slow due to being in the mountains (don’t expect to get anything done, just enjoy the views and seclusion this place offers), Uber/DiDi/Cabify are nearly impossible to get after dark if you want to leave and people are hesitant to take you back (tell the driver they won’t have to pay the toll on the way back from Chia), and lastly there is no hot water (particularly if you’re coming from the US technically hot by Colombian standards). Stay here if you want to unplug, enjoy nature, and take cold(er than expected) showers.

We had a very nice weekend. The property is very well equipped, you can breathe fresh air and both the property and the view are beautiful.

It is a very nice, comfortable and very well endowed house. It's cozy and the atmosphere is warm and doesn't feel cold despite the outside temperatures. We would definitely stay there again.

This was my second stay in this apartment, and was not disappointed. Jeissen maintains a nice place, is always available and willing to assist when needed. the views overlooking the city are spectacular, especially at night when the lights of Bogota sparkle. Remote enough for those quiet moments, but still close enough to to get into the thick of it all in just minutes by taxi. Will continue to use this when available.

Good place, excellent location

Amazing view from the balcony. The building felt very safe. We were also in walking distance to quite a few amazing restaurants.

Maria was an incredible host, she was always attentive to our stay since before she arrived and attentive to any details. The site was super comfortable, easy to access, the bathroom impeccable, when I return to Bogotá I definitely hope to stay with her again

Hernan and Ana Maria were incredibly responsible, hospitable, and friendly hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The cabin itself was cozy, peaceful, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were absolutely breathtaking—truly a perfect place to relax and unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Very well located cabin with delicious restaurants 15min by car. It is perfect fenced for carrying pets, it is very private and welcoming. Sebastian and Aura's attention was excellent, always ready to answer questions. I would definitely come back :)

Execelente place to rest and get out of the routine; silence is the best of the place

A perfect retreat to disconnect. The space is small but comfortable, with exceptional attention from the host. The location is ideal, close to Bogotá but in a quiet and natural environment. The cottage is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The feeling of peace and quiet is palpable, there is a lot of green, flowers and birds around and the view from the cottage is spectacular. Great for couples or people looking for a quiet retreat. Perfect for rest and recharge.

Giuseppe’s cabiñita was one of the loveliest Airbnbs we’ve ever been to. It’s a private little paradise surrounded by nature a short trip from Bogotá. The cabin is intentionally decorated for coziness and comfort. The elderly dogs in excellent physical shape, so happy and friendly, is such a testament to how well they are cared for. You’ll see many dogs, cows, goats, and sheep if you walk the lovely grass road. I recommend arriving during daylight so you can see the cement factory and cabins easily as you drive up. Use the fireplace! Enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

I want to deeply thank Maria Fernanda for being an exceptional host during our weekend at Refugio Arcadia. This place is simply magical: nature is present in all its splendor, with the singing of the birds, the sound of the river and an atmosphere of peace and tranquility that is felt in every corner. Every detail has been cared for with love and respect for the environment, offering an ecological, natural space full of a wonderful energy that invites deep connection with nature. Also, Corcho, his lovely dog, was a perfect companion and guide, making us feel even more welcome. Refugio Arcadia is a 10 out of 10 destination, absolutely recommended, and I only have words of gratitude left for having given us the opportunity to know such a beautiful place. Thank you very much!
