1 bedroom guest suite situated in the lower level of a 100+ year old farmhouse. This suite is in the middle of 40 acres on a small hobby farm. Beautiful views and private location. Conveniently located 10 - 15 minutes east of Country/Rock Fest grounds, 30 minutes from Chippewa Falls and 45 minutes from Eau Claire. This suite comfortably sleeps 3 adults however cots are available for up to 2 extra guests. Pets and children welcome. Highchair available upon request.
“Melissa's place was lovely and would definitely stayagain! All of her communication was extremely prompt, friendly and clear. The space itself was very comfortable and had everything we could need. The country scenery and peacefulness were just what we were looking for. It was so enjoyable to stroll around meet the beautiful chickens and cute little goats. There was a great bar on a lake nearby where we got done delicious burgers! Overall, a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!”
Perfect little spot for enjoying all that the Eau Claire area has to offer. Also close to all the festivals Country Fest, Country Jam, Rock Fest, Eaux Claire along with all the local free outdoor music, bike trails, hiking trails, fishing, local parks, 15 minutes to newly renovated downtown area and Pablo Center. Too see for yourself what's going on in the area! Local Volume One magazine will be your best resource. I will always try to have a current one in the guest house for you.
“Marie’s Eau Claire, Wisconsin cottage Airbnb stay is one that I will long cherish. Her cabin was tastefully appointed with a charming collection of military memorabilia & hand-crafted wooden furniture. My feather bed whisked me off to sleep after my long drive. Marie was so gracious to accommodate my request to fire up my Coleman cooking stove beside her stone fire pit. My own scrumptious steak was flavorfully complimented by a stout glass of Old Milwaukee beer. All in all it toasted a lovely evening!”
Located on a hilltop with 160 acres of private pastoral farmland, the house has two separate levels and is tailored to meet all of your needs. There are french doors that lead you to a tin roofed deck with a gas grill and a serene view of the beautiful countryside.
“A peaceful, relaxing weekend spent with my girlfriends of thirty-five years. Always needing a lot of bedroom space, the Grand Shanty was perfect! We spent the majority of our time on the deck enjoying the pastureland, breeze, & sun. We even took advantage of the ATV trails & ventured out on a 2-mile hike. There is absolutely no shortage of utensils, kitchenware, towels, pillows, etc. Without hesitation, my lifelong friends & I would stay there again. Only complaints there were no window coverings, limited window screens (broken screen door) and the large glass top kitchen island had damage (one corner very sharp.”
