Holiday rentals with beach access in Christchurch City Council

A lively seaside location and had everything I needed. Great bed and laundary facilities plus the views were simply stunning! And there was more ✅the backery rigth downstairs was a plus! ✅Akoroa Dolphin, also rigth downstairs, cannot say enough good things about this crew!!

We had a wonderful time at Denise and Regs place and they made us very welcome. Wonderful spot, beautiful garden and great trail path which was such fun to explore. Accommodation was perfect and all we wanted and would have love to stay longer. Loved the local area so picturesque and beautiful

Fantastic stay at Lana’s place. Great location right opposite the beach, but the icing on the cake was all the thoughtful touches and the attention to detail…..All those little things you need… she had thought of them all. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be recommending this cute wee place to all our friends.

A lovely apartment, great location and Jackie had excellent communication. She even let us know that the apartment was ready early so we could check in sooner, which was a big help.

The perfect accommodation for a couple + 2 kids. Very close to everything while away from main street noise. Immaculately clean and tidy with comfortable beds and furniture. Would definitely rebook.

What a wonderful place to stay- and wonderful hosts too! Comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. Great location as well - next to green spaces and near the ocean. Very easy to get into the city too. Can easily recommend to others.

The Airbnb is nice and pretty big with views of the bay. It has a lot of amenities that a lot of our other airbnbs didn’t have. It had a dedicated filtered water tap, a dryer (most Airbnb’s in NZ only have washers), electric blankets etc. Do note that the drive up to the home is relatively steep and on a gravel path, parking for a large vehicle would be quite tricky as well.

Danielle was a responsive and friendly host. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the beautiful surrounds of Sumner and delicious bakery and bar close by!

We loved our stay at Charmaine’s. The space huge!! Which was great for the kids - aged 10, 8 & 5. We all loved the table soccer! The house was really well set up and beautiful in its aesthetics. Beautiful artworks, decorations & furniture. We visited in Autumn, with some chilly mornings, and it was warm and cosy. We loved the fire in the evenings and the house is well insulated, double glazed and has nice thick curtains. The beds and bedrooms are also very accomodating and comfy. Charmaine is a really thoughtful host. We appreciated the goods in the kitchen, the books & magazines, the kids room, the extra keys, and of course Charmaine’s communication. The house is also super close to town and with views of the harbour. We live Lyttleton! Top stay, would love to visit again 🤗

Friendly neighbour to help, accomodation was good, we thought the bunks room would be bigger, so a bit tight for 5 adults Location great. Very quiet.

We would recommend this place. We stayed here for one night as a group of four (if you're coming with four people, two of you will be sleeping on a sofa bed). The host reached out in advance to ask if we wanted the sofa bed prepared, which we confirmed. However, upon arrival, we had to set it up ourselves. We found the necessary bedding and blankets in the bedroom closet, but we weren’t entirely sure if they had been freshly changed, as they seemed slightly used. Despite that, our overall experience was positive and without major issues. The house is within walking distance of a beautiful beach and pier, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the stay!

Annette’s home is a perfect place to stay in Akaroa. Great location with beautiful views. The house is very well stocked with everything you need. Beautiful and clean. Annette is a wonderful host who always responded to our messages and was flexible with our check out. Would definitely recommend this home.

Highly recommend this beautiful, classy family home set in the hills of Sumner. You could not find a more stunning spot with all the comforts of home and more. We are a family of 5 and found the space perfect for us. Could not recommend more for a chance to slow down, relax and touch base with nature.

Wonderful, lovely decor. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was really nice. We had a relaxing stay.

Close to amenities, shore line and plenty of coffee shops & eateries. Plenty of space and toys to keep kids occupied.

We loved our stay at The Little Blue Cottage. It’s in a gorgeous garden setting with abundant birdlife. Inside is spacious, oozing stylish comfort. Great bathroom, comfortable bed with lovely linen sheets, and a well-designed kitchen with quality equipment. It had turned a bit chilly when we arrived in Akaroa, so the wood burner was much appreciated! Would love to stay again in this inviting and peaceful cottage.
