It's is very close to Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth House, historic Edwinstowe and a great number of other local beauty spots. It is very private with its own fully fenced garden for the security of your pet should you wish to bring a well behaved dog. A great short break destination surrounded by some beautiful walking and cycling routes including Route 6 and Sherwood Pines

The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. An ideal location to visit the surrounding areas, ie Welbeck Abbey, Sherwood Forest, Cresswell Craggs. Our barn conversion consists of 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, walk-in shower, bath. Second toilet. Fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and an American fridge/freezer. Small dog accepted by prior negotiation. Parking for 2 cars. Although close to A60, country walks are within walking distance. Walk across the road to the Carrs Nature Reserve and park - see photos.
