Tent holiday rentals in City of Canterbury

We had a great trip here with friends - the safari tent was exactly as described and perfect for what we wanted! Liz was a great host, responsive if we needed anything but equally left us to our own privacy. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings but not too far from local amenities and village life! Would definitely recommend!

Great glamping experience. Jacqueline was a great host! Feeding the lamas was enjoyable for kids and adults in the morning. Jacqueline had provided a bag of starter wood and logs next to the tent so we could do a fire in the pit provided. When we came back later on from dinner and from getting marshmallows to roast, someone else in the campsite had taken our bag (agh) but Jacqueline sorted us out the best she could by putting together bits of wood she could find. Lesson learnt to pack the bag of logs in the boot of our car, at any future campsite! Nothing to do with Jacqueline or the campsite, our stay was lovely.

Had a great time at Tilly’s. The setting was lovely and the site was very well thought out. Stayed in the Rowan tent which was tucked away in a little corner with a couple of trees that provided some shade. Felt really relaxed and nourished after our weekend at Blean Camping. Would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this three day escape, great hospitality, so thoughtful and responsive without being intrusive. Everything you could think to hand, fire pit, beautiful surroundings, camping stove & utensils to make breakfast under the sky, great pub and restaurant a stroll away, warm shower, fridge and the most amazing bed! Beautiful ancient Rye and Camber Sands a short drive away…feel like we were away for a week and wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll be back and can’t recommend enough ! Thank you 🙏

We absolutely loved our stay. The tents were extremely comfortable and we had a great time with our boys. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed so there was no need for us to use what we had packed! Hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Thank you so much

We had such a brilliant first time glamping with our 4&5 year old boys, on a rather chilly weekend! Jacqueline was very helpful and nice to talk to. The bell tent was spacious and the double bed comfortable. The toilets, well we were treated! I was never expecting them to be so nice! There was even a shower! The location was great, a secured field, shared with sheep and alpaca. There is a lake but after stern talkings with the boys, plus we weren’t too close to it, it was fine, we were aware of it, but felt happy to let the boys play in nature whilst we pottered around with dinner etc. We couldn’t find a few things plus we ran out of logs but Jacqueline kindly helped us out which we really appreciated. looking forward for next years dates to come out so we can book up again. Thank you for such a positive first experience.

Lovely tent and campsite. We only stayed one night as we passed through the area but it was very nice and we would definitely consider coming back for a longer stay! Communication from Tilly was excellent and check in was very simple. The information email prior to arrival and directions were excellent. A beautiful site.

I love love loved it here! honestly, I have no complaints at all. Everything surpassed my expectations. The quality of the little things, towels, linens, wool blankets to having everything, absolutely everything we needed add in the most beautiful location, a hot tub and great friends and I truly didn't want to leave. I'm over the moon I've found this place and without doubt will be coming back . A proper gem of a place, you really won't be disappointed. it's impossible!

Nicola was a fantastic host, responsive and super helpful when communicating both before and during my stay. The yurt itself has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. The bed is super comfy too! Overall a very relaxing stay and I cannot wait to come back with my dogs!
