This cottages is also wheelchair accessible. Their are two other cottages on the property. Our Nautical theme cottage and our Contemporary themed cottage.

Pine/Honeymoon Cabin - Birchdale

Birchdale is a historic Hunting and Fishing Lodge founded in 1911! Situated down a long dirt road, in one of Nova Scotia's most bucolic areas, this beautiful retreat is rustic and completely off-grid. No cell service or electricity. A chance to breathe, explore and be in nature (with some creature comforts like flush toilet hot shower in your cabin!) Birchdale is a unique property dotted with 18 Cabins. Pine/Honeymoon was the first cabin built and has housed many a newlywed or quieter getaway.

At the Ford du Lac

In the rural Acadian community of Clare, you will find our fully equipped, recently updated, 1 bedroom + loft A-Frame style chalet sitting on a quiet lake. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed - excellent for traveling with children. Downstairs bedroom: 1 queen bed. Living room: double pull out sofa & futons. We live next door so let us know if anything is missing during your stay!

Mavillette Beach House

Steps to sand and surf at Mavillette Beach! A spacious and serene space welcomes you, recently completely renovated and fully equipped to relax in a truly remarkable setting. Open concept main floor and wrap around porch with full beach views. A main floor 4 piece bathroom and 4th bedroom with 2 beds is an added bonus. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms (one a serene loft + private work space) and a 1/2 bath. Witness the unforgettable changing tides, sunrises and sunsets, and amazing stars!

St. Joseph Farm

We are currently renting our space to family for the 2025 season . We will be re-opening for the 2026 season !! Please book ahead . Experience a unique farm stay. Enjoy your morning tea in our circular gardens and visit the farm stand, spend some time with the animals or take a walk down our forest path to where the tidal Sissiboo River meets the sea. Feel free to use our space as a home base for all your tourism needs. Sandy beaches, lighthouses, whale watching and seafood await.

'Cabane Au Lac' / Cabin at the Lake: Secluded 2-bedroom cottage has everything you need for your time away. The property comes with Wi-Fi, self check-in, and a SmartTV. Enjoy the full kitchen, spacious living room, as well as an additional living area/loft. Relax with your morning coffee on the covered patio overlooking the lake. Our place is within driving distance to several restaurants, coffee shops, and beach. An ideal base to explore the Clare and the Acadian Shore region.

Keep it simple at this stylish, updated and centrally located place. This house has incredible sunsets. Expansive views are hard to beat. Stores, restaurants, bank, salon and even a gym a stones throw away. A golf course and country club close by plus the Saulnierville wharf at the end of the road. The beach is a 2 minute drive There are 2 floors of living space. The pool table converts to a ping pong table and there is corn hole and board games along with beach toys.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Wonderful property which is located on a peninsula in Briar Lake. You will be surrounded by water on three sides. On the property, there is a private jetty, a staircase into the water and a small sandy beach. You will also find a fire pit, a garage, a shed for firewood and a shed on the jetty for boating equipment. The house is fully equipped; you don't need to bring anything.

A beautiful wooden lakeside house surrounded by nature. What we love most about the beautiful house is its simplicity and tranquility. Relaxing and being in nature. Waking up quietly with a cup of coffee and looking at the water, watching the squirrels, preparing home-caught fish for dinner, looking for mushrooms in season and sitting on the dock with a book. In the evening you can sit around the campfire, reviewing the day.
