We stayed here for a few days whilst visiting. Although we knew the Wirral, we were less familiar with the old village side of Heswall. With beautiful views over the Dee to North Wales, this property is comfortable and well presented, as well as being spotlessly clean. There is a pub literally across the road, and local village shops a few minutes' walk away. There are good walks along the Wirral Way ( a disused railway line) within a few minutes of the house. We lived our stay there and would thoroughly recommend the property and Lisa's hosting.

Beautiful home to stay in so clean and has everything you need also the bed in front bedroom is absolutely amazing to sleep in would highly recommend this air bnb it's so nice and homely and the sofa is also so comfortable the house its self is very spacious with a lovely big dining table to eat on right next to patio doors which leads straight into a beautiful garden with perfect grass turf great for when it's nice and sunny also loved that there was a washing line and basically everything you need in a house it's also very close to the shops like home and bargains and coop also a few other shops to at the end of the road perfect location for everyone I would highly recommend Julie's home to stay in you will not be disappointed and the price of it wow that's a bargain for the house you stay in. Julie and Lee were great hosts and so welcoming and making sure that we were all settling ok. So if you want to stay in a beautiful place book this house x

We stayed at Rachael and Tom’s beautiful cottage for two nights to celebrate our sons 3rd birthday and visit Chester Zoo! The cottage itself is gorgeous! Parking at the rear for one vehicle. A great garden which was perfect for our dog. Lovely kitchen with everything we needed to be able to make our own breakfast on a morning. Great quality appliances. There were even some complimentary gifts which was lovely. Very comfortable and cosy living room and the conservatory was perfect to set up all of our sons presents for the big day! Beautiful bedrooms upstairs, love the decor! Very comfortable beds. The bed in the main bedroom is enormous and so comfy! I’m really going to miss that as that was the best sleep we have had in ages! Perfectly situated for the Zoo which was just a ten minute drive away. We visited two local places for evening meals, our recommendation would be The Shrewsbury Arms! Thank you both for having us! With only a few notes, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Works and give it 5 stars. Firstly, I made the mistake of not watching their video on finding the key box to the entrance lobby. Second, our Uber driver couldn’t find the exact location and we had to walk almost a block trying to find the small number (partially my fault for not watching their video though I expected our local driver to know better). The lift had just been repaired when we arrived and did go out of service once for a few hours but was quickly repaired. And we mistakenly assumed the front door locked on its own like a hotel door and were greeted by a young stranger in our kitchen one morning who’d mistaken our flat for his own. All things our fault, but you might make the same mistakes. The clear “door” in the ensuite bathroom created some privacy issues. And lastly, though the space wasn’t listed with a bidet, I struggle to understand why any place wouldn’t slap on a $35 bidet in 2025.

We stayed at Sonya’s place whilst having renovations done to our house and it was perfect for the hat we needed. The house is really clean, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. The downstairs furniture has been upgraded and is actually better than the photos. Really good location for Woolton village amenities, pubs etc and short walk to woolton woods for walking the dog. Sonya is a great host, friendly, responsive and helpful check-in instructions. Easy to find the place and check in. Would definitely recommend.

So chuffed we found this place! As a group of 7 girls we had plenty of room, great location for nearby walks and easy access to eat/drink out. The novelty of the animals around the house was really fun and the house itself was lovely. Very comfy, had everything we needed and the luxury of the hot tub was an added plus. Julia was really great with all the information prior to arrival and the gentleman who look after the animals were super friendly. Would love to go back and would highly recommend.

Port Sunlight Station Cottage

It was a pleasure and privilege to spend a week (with good weather) in a modernised, comfortable Listed home in such a beautiful Conservation Area Village with much to explore there on foot. It is located in one of the best spots there too, overlooking the Dell yet only one minute's walk from the Station (which is not noisy at all). That did mean offcomers /commuters parking there (so making it less easy to park nearby) but there is a more private area to park which Matt commended to us. We have experienced various homes but Matt's was both amply and well equipped by comparison to some we have stayed at, with comfortable rooms and plenty of space and facilities. Easy quick and cheap to get into Liverpool by train, and to access the M53 for the rest of the Wirral. Very handy well stocked farm shop a few minutes drive away for goodies and treats. All in all a great stay, thank you Matt.

Debbie was a fantastic Host. The caravan was well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Debbie provided us with a welcome basket filled with biscuits, bread, milk and butter which was very much appreciated. bedrooms are cute and have sockets next to the beds for tech users who like using their phones in bed like me! Recommended Debbie's home to our friends and will definitely be returning!

Expensive but luxurious house very close to West Kirby beach, at the end of a cul-de-sace, with views over the Dee estuary, Hilbre islands, Royal Liverpool golf course. In close (walking) proximity to the West Kirby marine lake, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, with fast access to train/metro into Liverpool or towards Chester/Cheshire. The house is very spacious, many rooms and beds to choose from. The kitchen diner is particularly nice as it is located at the back of the house, looking onto the garden & terrace, with cooking island, induction cooker, several ovens and microwave, lots of cooking utensils, trays, pans etc. Outside space is very quiet, all you hear are bird sounds & occasionally a golfer teeing off :-) Beds are very soft (not everybody will like that)! Private parking space for 2 cars. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would return in future when visiting the area again

Thank you very much for the use of your lovely home , it was perfectly situated for our short stay and concert visit , communication was brilliant throughout and nothing was to much to ask , the house was cosy . It was torture for Archie my girlfriends little one mind . Being an avid Man City fan with all the Liverpool memorabilia lol , thanks again we will certainly hope to stay again if we visit Liverpool again . PS he did like the Alison picture in the living room his words it’s Sick .
