The place was cozy and clean, just as described. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay for the full duration due to a change in plans, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Frances was always available and responsive to any questions. Highly recommended!

Tim and Liz seem like genuinely lovely people. They were helpful and made us feel welcome. The bungalow has obviously been crafted with care and an attention to detail and decorated beautifully throughout. The surrounding area is peaceful with stunning views and nature right on the door step.

Our stay at Garden Cottage was homely, welcoming, comfortable, relaxing and unique. From booking to checkout, Angus communicated clearly and politely, no request was too big and the couple of small niggles we had upon arrival were resolved swiftly and efficiently. The cottage itself is ideal for small families. My daughter sat at the dining table crafting whilst my son and I explored the record collection. of an evening after a soak in the wood fired hot tub, we all sat around the nook/fireplace and played card games. The bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked with everything you could need, including a fancy coffee machine which we didn't use. as per the description, the spiral staircase is narrow and a bit tricky to navigate with luggage, but the kids thought this was a really fun addition to the cottage. I would recommend packing slippers/chunky socks as the kitchen and utility rooms do get chilly of a morning and evening. Loads to do nearby, good take away and handy shops. 5 stars

We had a wonderful Easter stay at Steve and Alison’s beautiful home. Both hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. The house was perfect for the two of us—spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, including thoughtful extras like oil, salt, and pepper. The bed linens were of excellent quality, and Alison even left us a lovely welcome treat: delicious homemade flapjacks and fresh eggs from their own chickens. Their garden is absolutely stunning and surrounded by peaceful woodland, making for a tranquil and picturesque setting. The location is ideal for exploring the area. We enjoyed a day at Cheddar Gorge and also visited Wells and Glastonbury. Steve recommended The Langford Inn for dinner—and it was a fantastic choice! The food was far above your typical pub fare, so good in fact that we went back for breakfast the next day. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and memorable stay.
