I had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. I especially enjoyed exploring the property – it was beautiful to walk around and take in the surroundings. A highlight was definitely the farm fresh eggs, which were a lovely touch and made my mornings extra special. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

This place and this host are both AWESOME! A few friends came last year for a weekend reunion and rented just the "Cabin." We liked it so much we came back this year and rented both the Cabin and the Cottage. Now we're all talking annual tradition. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The many ducks, rolling creek, 4 fire pits with different views, it's calm, quiet (save for some light gunfire from a shooting range close enough to hear), and exactly the private getaway we were looking for. The host could not be more hospitable. She makes sure she's available for anything we need while not being in any way obtrusive. She helped us get enough firewood for two whole days of fun with the fire pits, a rare treat for a city boy like me. As far as the Cabin vs Cottage, the Cabin has two separate bedrooms, but the Cottage is the truly stunning little hideaway with a view of the waterfall that even made a cozy place to watch the brief thunderstorm we had this weekend.

We stayed here for our daughter's graduation at the Culinary Institute. It was a beautiful 30 min back and forth from the campus. There are great restaurants all around within a short drive. We couldn't have felt more at home. Peaceful location and fully stocked with anything you could possibly need for your stay. We highly recommend staying here for any trip near or around the Hudson Valley.
