Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Clovis

In short, the Hobbit house was amazing. I do like to make note that there were various places with spider webs that were visually unpleasant, inbetween the door slider to the balcony, on the way to the little sauna-like room accessible in the bathroom of the main bedroom, or the fireplace that is clearly never used. These are nitpicks that dings a bit but nothing to undermine how great this place is. There are many special places I've stayed and this is one of the few that I would actually mean it when i say I'll be back.

We enjoyed our stay in Robert's home, it was quaint and cozy. It was just perfect for what we wanted, to relax and be comfortable, and it felt like home. The home smells fresh, everything was clean and check in was easy. Highly recommended if you're wanting a homey feeling.

Over all the home was very comfortable. Plenty of seating in the living room for my family to sit and relax. The kitchen was nice. The range is amazing. The owner was responsive to our questions. I was appreciative they decorated for Christmas.

The house is very nice and felt like a safe neighborhood.

That would be our one-word description of our experience at this AirBnb. We live nearby so we booked it for 4 out-of-town guests who were staying for several days. They were very happy with the accommodations which means that we are very happy also.. The home was clean, neat, well-stocked and very comfortable. We were especially pleased to find clearly written instructions for using the TV, Washer/Dryer etc. which made staying there very convenient for all of us. We would happily rent the unit again should we find ourselves once again hosting a group of family or friends. Thumbs up to John for providing a fine property!

This place was even better in person than the pictures! Right away we felt right at home. There was just the right amount of furniture, decor, fun activities, and extra touches in there that it felt like a cozy and very clean home and not just another Airbnb. Also appreciated the fun options of toys available for toddlers. Jadrien was clear, responsive, and very kind! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great place to stay! Love that it’s gated and quiet, spacious and great kitchen for cooking. Definitely found my stay for when I’m in Fresno.

We absolutely loved how we felt right at home. There’s a pool if you come when it’s warmer and a playground that my children loved. The house & the backyard is huge so there’s plenty of space for everyone to freely move around. Jess is amazing and always responded when we needed help. The neighborhood was quiet and the house is right on the corner so we weren’t a bother to anyone around us. We’ll definitely be returning!

We booked Stormy's place for a quick late season ski session at China Peak. We were welcomed right away with quick communication from our host who was proactive and had the 2nd bed made up for us before we arrived. The space has the "less is more" vibe but everything we needed was there. We enjoyed our stay!

This place was a really great getaway for my wife and I. Its location is perfect for a ski weekend. The Aroma Tavern is pretty much in the same parking lot and a nice place to eat that is also dog friendly. The layout of the rental is really cool, and feels really cozy and comfortable.

Excellent hosts. Responsive and Helpful. Location is Peaceful and Beautiful. Apartment clean and comfortable (felt like home). Delicious homemade cookies were an added bonus

Great weekend spot!

Susan was an absolutely amazing host and it honestly felt like home to me being there and being able to bring my 2 cats as well. She had great recommendations and nose the area very well . Susan was always responsive, and we even hung out a good bit as she introduced me to her main hiking group in the area which really made my weekend even better 💯 Highly recommend staying here, especially if you are a nomadic wanderer, and remote worker) like me. It’s a quiet/peaceful place in the countryside with lots of farm animals around, accompanied with beautiful sunrises. Learned about a lot of local hiking spots in the area and navigating the twisty roads around, which was fun. 10 out of 10 would stay here again and can’t wait to come back! this is my 2nd stay at stormys place. the cabin was very clean, the cabin is right by restaurants, stores, etc. very walkable. there is a little electric heater but that kept us super warm! i will continue to book this place each time i come down to shaver!

Veronika is a great host! The house was perfect. Just like the photos. Gated parking was awesome. Felt safe and at home. Would definitely stay again.

Ellie and her home were incredible! Such a great location with hiking and town close by. She was super helpful and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

We loved the home. Extremely cozy and well maintained. It was great having a stocked kitchen, having a slow cooker came in handy after a day full of sledding. Looking forward to staying here again!

My family and I went to Shaver Lake, and were very lucky to find this cabin. It had everything, from a washer and dryer machine to a heated toilet. We had an amazing time in Shaver Lake and the cabin was simply perfect. The hosts were very friendly and quick to respond with any questions that I had. We look forward to coming again and truly appreciate the great hospitality from this cabin. 😁

This is an excellent home. It has everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels in the bathroom, lots of extra blankets, board games, toys for kids, and more. It was probably our favorite rental we’ve stayed at. It’s close to town, but on a quiet street and far enough out that it is extremely quiet and peaceful outside. The house is surrounded by beautiful trees and it’s not a far drive to the son-parks, lakes, and hiking trails. The host is prompt in the replies to messages and has very easy to follow and reasonable rules for the house. We loved our time here and plan on trying to stay again next time we visit town!

The cabin was so beautiful. The pictures did not do it justice. Our host was very responsive. The pool table was a highlight of the place. Everybody spent most of their time down in the basement. The kids room was so convenient. Enough bunkbeds for everyone. I can’t wait to book my next trip!!

My group of 4 had the most amazing weekend at the cabin. It’s incredibly comfortable and a beautiful location. Private, clean, and full of thoughtful touches. Easy access to Kings Canyon and Sequoia NPs. Hoping to stay again someday. Thank you, Sarah!!
