Isabel’s Cottage is owned by Lisa & Ivan. We live just next door. Located on the edge of the Lake District, tucked away in the old part of Great Broughton, on a quiet lane just off the Main Street with lovely walks along the River Derwent right from the doorstep & views over the river & western fells. Cockermouth & Keswick are a short drive away along with the seaside towns of Maryport & Whitehaven & the beaches at Allonby & St Bees. Easy access to the Lakes & the Western Wainwright Fells.

A charming barn converted cottage, located in the peaceful village of Mockerkin, only 2 miles from Loweswater and the old market town of Cockermouth only 5 miles away, ideally situated for easy access to the lakes & fells, yet only 20 minutes drive to the coast and the town of Keswick. An excellent base to explore all that the western lakes have to offer, and with amazing walking & cycling right from the cottage door it makes it the perfect place to make special memories with Family & Friends

The Mews: perfect for up to 7 adults & 3 children

The Mews is a beautifully converted barn, once part of a larger farm, it is now one of a small complex of buildings , surrounded by farmland and overlooking the hills and valleys of the NW Lakes. This is the most peaceful and picturesque area of the Lake District. The location is perfect for walking , cycling, running, open water swimming etc... or for those who like to take things a little easier it is perfect for day trips into the lakes and toward the lesser know scenic west coast .
