Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Columbia County

This property is perfect! Close enough to the city for our needs and far enough in the country for peace and tranquility. Very clean, and comfortable. Marsha, is an amazing host and wonderful person. We would definitely rent this property again, in the future.

This was our second stay and we love everything about this spot! It’s a beautiful piece of property with everything you need to sit back and enjoy a weekend away. The host is always incredibly helpful and kind whenever we have had to communicate with them with questions or recommendations. If you’re looking for a place to escape too then you will not be disappointed with this spot! We will certainly be back again as soon as we can!

We loved staying here! It was the perfect location to be close to downtown High Springs and is a straight shot to all of the springs (Poe, Gilchrist and Ginnie) we wanted to visit. Being right on the river was so relaxing, and we had so much fun playing ping pong, cornhole and darts with our teenagers. We built a fire with wood purchased right off the main road and made s'mores too. The house was very well-appointed and we appreciated having plenty of towels, kitchen items (including spices and other essentials we usually have to bring or buy). The beds were comfortable and the a/c worked great, which I always appreciate. Will absolutely stay again!

This place was magical. A group of 8 of us came together for my 30th birthday and had an absolute blast. The river was gorgeous and we enjoyed hanging on the dock, kayaking and having fires in the fire pit at night. Absolutely beautiful place close to the springs for our Ichetucknee adventure, with plenty of good spots to eat and drink in town. We cooked a couple big meals here and had no issues with anything in the kitchen. Ample seating and space! I recommend bringing your own ice and water, but other than that, everything we needed was available in the house itself! We will remember this trip for years to come and hope to be back soon! We had a relaxing short weekend at Marianna’s place. It was a very private place and you have nature all around you, which is a good break from the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a good time getting unplugged for a couple of days. The place was homey and clean, and we are very happy with our stay. Highly recommend!

Where do we start? This place exceeded our expectations! I loved the clean cabin with a porch that we could close a gate and keep the dogs on the porch. The mini kitchen had everything we needed and I loved the Coffee Tea station outside of the bathhouse. The bathhouse and the cabin were decorated so well. The bathhouse was perfect to take a shower when other members of our party were showering in our cabin. I loved the free roaming chickens and the eggs provided in the refrigerator when we arrived! I loved the patio outside of the cabins with a grilling area and a picnic area. The boat dock and nature trail were great for walking the dogs. We were only minutes from Itchetucknee Springs State Park and restaurants in Branford. The stars were gorgeous at night by the campfire and we loved listening to the birds at night- turns out the bird calling at night was a Chucks Will Widow bird! Great stay- looking forward to returning!

Loved this place!!! Beautiful property and amazing sunsets!!! I will say, if you aren’t planning on actually talking to your family and visiting then this isn’t the place for you!!! There were NO TVs but my family actually needed that. We were forced to sit and visit and we desperately needed time for us. We stayed for my daughter’s graduation from UF. It was a 30 minute drive to campus. Local Dollar Store near by and others. If you are wanting quiet and peace. This is the place for you!!!
