Located near the end of a quiet dead end road in Welches, Oregon. Short path to Sandy River. Easy access to HWY 26 and only 15 minutes to Government Camp or Sandy Ridge mountain biking. Enjoy the relaxing surroundings while staying in a newly renovated cabin with all the comforts of home. 2 night min. stay seasonally/Fri/Sat but possibly accept a 1 night stay...just ask. Each Cabin has their own gear shed to store & secure all the fun recreational toys; and individual fire pits.

Niksen House: Scandanvian style Cabin at Mt. Hood

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. Elsie's View: Cozy Vintage/Modern Cabin

Our 1920s cabin is nestled in the woods along the White Salmon River. 4 people max. We are best for 1 or 2 adult couples (Queen beds are upstairs in each bedroom, and one full size couch is downstairs). A couple with 1-2 kids can easily work too. What doesn’t work are 4 adults who need to sleep separately - that means doubling up in one of the beds. Well-behaved dogs okay with advance notice.
