Hayley and Ian were the most fantastic hosts. Greeting us on arrival, showing us the shepherd’s hut and showing immediate interest in us and what we wanted to do. This led to Ian booking us a table at the pub for dinner, and they extended invitations for us to go see the old mill and chat to them whenever we wanted. They continued to be welcoming and friendly beyond the check out, just generally very lovely people. The shepherds hut and surrounding were superb and we would absolutely go back.

A wonderful stay in a wonderful place. A beautiful setting, very peaceful and very pretty. We visited the Kinema (a must!) the Blue Bell Inn, Woodall Spa and the Ebrington Arms, all in easy reach of the Badgers Sett. The property was even better than in the photos. Everything we needed was catered for, and lots of extra little touches which make all the difference. Adrian was a great host, communication was good, he was also very helpful in changing my booking date at short notice, and recommended lots for us to do. We would highly recommended this lovely little property and would hire again if we’re ever in the area. Thank you very much Adrian.

This cottage is exceptional! Set in a stunning, peaceful garden. The River Witham is a few steps away over a little bridge. Kathy & Alan are so warm and friendly but don't intrude, definitely the loveliest hosts we have met. The cottage is very cosy and absolutely spotless. Kathy has equipped the kitchen with everything you could possibly need and left ample supplies of dish cloths, pan scrubs, dishwasher tablets, washing powder and liquid for the washing machine and toilet roll. We have stayed in other places that have supplied the bare minimum. Comfy bed & Sofa . Hairdryer makeup mirror in the bedroom drawer. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Alan told us to treat it like home, feel free to enjoy the lovely garden. It was refreshing to not have lots of do's & don'ts rules. The only checkout request was to leave the used towels in the shower. Looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet & welcoming place to book? You have found a little haven! Willow tree farm cottage was perfect. Lovely and clean with everything we could need. The table football in the kitchen was an added bonus and provided lots of fun. The BBQ hut is fantastic either for cooking or enjoying a glass of wine around the fire. Debbie was very friendly and helpful and we hope to return soon.
