Each bedroom has a queen size bed (with electric blankets) sunny open plan living and a huge front lawn - perfect for families & boat parking.

Walk drive to restaurants and cafes. 3km drive from our property is a unique passenger ferry taking 5 minutes to restaurants, cafes, boutique shops and supermarkets. We are blessed to be surrounded by 4 lovely beaches.

BBQ Kayaks available on request. 10min walk to beach, local grocery store, restaurants, takeaways. 5 mins drive to Mercury Bay Winery, Ferry landing to catch ferry to Whitianga (passengers only) 15min drive to Hot Water beach, Cathedral Cove and Hahei.

Flaxmill Seagarden Cabin (off-grid)

This newly constructed cabin is "off grid". We use alternate power supply (solar and gas) meaning limitations on power. Charging your electronic devices and laptops are fine. Using appliances that generate heat (hairdryers, hair straighteners, electric heaters, coffee makers etc) can result in power system failures. Please consider this before booking. Thank you!
