Family-friendly holiday rentals in Copenhagen

Monica and Claus were lovely to deal with, helpful, thoughtful and friendly. Their apartment is tastefully furnished, and in a lovely setting, with many windows and French doors. We were four adults and we all found the beds to be very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, even sleeping with the windows wide open. Due to the apartment being their home where they live most of the time, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. However, because it is their home, the closets are full and there is no available space for guests clothing or incidentals, so be prepared to live from your suitcase. There are about 6 flights of stairs to get to the 4th floor. It was a workout for us 70 year olds, but manageable. The big perk was that Claus met us upon our arrival and helped carry heavy luggage upstairs, a very kind and helpful gesture. There are many bakeries and cafes within a short walk and the bus and metro are very accessible. I highly recommend this BnB.

Marco's place was excellent. We had a family of 11 people, including children. Marco's place was perfect- enough places for sleeping, a spacious living room to be together, a very well-equipped kitchen, the metro was just 8 min to walk, bus 3-4 minutes. The beach was around 10 minutes to walk, and the airport was just 2 metro stops. Marco responded very quickly and his neighbour was also very friendly and helped us with everything. I totally recommend Marco's place!

Thomas’ place was exactly as expected. Great house for a spa retreat, or just a weekend in the north coast of Copenhagen. Sauna, hot top worked great. Thomas was also very helpful throughout the booking period, and he was there to make sure everything worked out well.

Wonderful place to stay with a beautiful view of the landscape. Finn was very welcoming. Highly recommended both for enjoying local nature and as staging for trips to other parts of Danmark. We enjoyed our stay!

Die 5 Tage bei Søren waren für uns als Familie (5 Erwachsene) super. Das Haus bietet viel Platz und der Garten ist der Hit. Das Haus liegt zudem in einer ruhigen Gegend. Für unsere Entdeckungsreise auf Seeland war das Haus von Søren ein guter Ausgangspunkt. Auch Kopenhagen ist mit dem Auto rasch zu erreichen.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem schönen Haus. Die Kommunikation war stets schnell und freundlich.

Logement très correct. Situé dans un quartier résidentiel agréable et calme. Erika et Peter sauront vous accueuillir dignement. Ils nous ont même prêté leurs vélos pendant deux jours pour qu'on puisse visiter la ville. Excellente expérience. Le jaccuzzi peut accueillir deux personnes. Le matelas et les oreillers sont agréables. Logement très bien équipé. Merci pour tout

Très bel appartement spacieux, lumineux et fonctionnel. L'appartement se trouve au bord de l'eau, juste à côté de l'espace de baignade aménagé sur les berges dans le quartier d'Island Brygge. Le quartier est séparé du centre ville par le grand canal mais tout est accessible à pied en peu de temps par le pont Langebro. Il y a aussi un métro tout proche que nous n'avons pas utilisé. ́L'appartement est très agréable et calme avec de grandes pièces et de belles fenêtres. S'agissant de la vraie maison d'Alger et sa famille, et non d'un appartement pour touristes, il est parfaitement équipé, en particulier la cuisine. Seul petit bémol, la salle de bain très petite mais comme partout au Danemark et dans les pays du nord de manière générale (nous le savions et cela ne nous a pas dérangé). Le vrai plus de la location à été l'échange avec Asger, qui s'est révélé être un hôte très réactif, particulièrement chaleureux et surtout très arrangeant. Merci à lui et à sa famille!

This place is wonderful. It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood with very easy access to public transportation. The Metro stop is close by (8 minute walk) and we quickly learned that the ferry stop - which takes you right into the center of town - is even closer (5 minute walk). The place is very spacious, beautifully laid out, very clean, and has great views of the canal. Note that there’s no microwave – that wasn’t a big deal to us at all, but may be worth noting. Thank you!!!

Our first visit to Sweden was truly unforgettable, and Skanör exceeded all our expectations. The beach and sea were absolutely stunning, especially for us coming from Belgium, and we were touched by the warm hospitality of everyone we met. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kristina's charming cottage. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The cottage was generally clean and tidy. It’s worth noting that guests should bring their own toiletries, such as shampoo, shower gel, and a hairdryer (something that was not mentioned in the Airbnb description as included or not). The nearby supermarket and shops were very convenient, and Malmö is just a short 30-minute drive away. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would love to return to your cottage, Kristina. Ich war einen Monat bei Nilla und hatte eine wirkliche tolle Zeit. Die Lage am See ist einzigartig und es gibt dort tolle Wege zum spazieren gehen, insbesondere mit Hund. Nilla war immer super erreichbar und hat mir auch gute Tipps für die Umgebung etc. gegeben. Ich würde definitiv nochmal herkommen.🫶

We had a lovely stay at Michael and Billie Max’s place. Stunning apartment, well kept and clean in an incredible location. Their apartment is beautifully curated and definitely added value to our experience in Copenhagen. Michael is a great host and was very kind to be flexible with our check-in time and accommodate our early arrival. The surrounding area was the perfect home base with cafés, shops and restaurants. Would love to return soon.

Wir haben zu dritt eine Woche in dem Haus von Jenny und Lars verbracht und uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist eine schöne ruhige Gegend mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt, Apotheke, Bäckerei…) und Busanbindungen in die Stadt. Es gibt zudem einen kleinen privaten Garten, der uns direkt zum Frühstück nach draußen gelockt hat und der Waschraum mit Waschmaschine und jeder Menge Handtüchern ist unschlagbar :)

Huset er ganske bestemt en lille perle, med udsigt over en idyllisk sø med mange fugle og en robåd til låns. Huset er velindrettet, men lille, men det øger kun hyggen i dette miljø. Der er et dejligt bålsted lige ved søbredden - og gratis brænde! Udenomsarealer indbyder til udendørsliv, der er også hængekøjer. I huset en brændeovn, som vi dog ikke brugte. I vores mening er huset ideelt til det lidt varmere vejr og lune aftner, hvor man kan sidde ude ved søkanten eller på den dejlige hævede terrasse. Indenfor godt spisebord og alrum, men ingen sofa eller lænestol. Det savnes som sagt ikke under godt vejr. Udsigten er ubetalelig, vi så blandt andet 3 forskellige slags rovfugle, herunder en fiskeørn tage en tur hen over søen. Anbefales!

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Osterwochenende in dieser gemütlichen Wohnung. Martin war immer erreichbar und hat uns immer sofort geholfen, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Die Wohnung war sauber und es gab alles, was man brauchte. Koge ist einer gemütliche kleine Stadt mit einem schönen Zentrum, Hafen, Strand usw. Wir empfehlen diese Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiter.

Logement confortable, très bien équipé. Agréable jardin clos avec trampoline et piscine. Propre. Nous avons séjourné avec nos 3 enfants, ils se sont sentis comme à la maison. Hannah a été réactive et toujours disponible dans nos échanges. Proche du centre de Copenhague : facile d'accès en vélo et en bus, une ligne passe devant la maison. Routes périphériques pour visiter la région facile d'accès. Très bon séjour ! Nous recommandons cette maison. Seul bémol : les chambres donnent sur une voie avec de la circulation pouvant perturber le sommeil.

Wir durften für 2 Wochen zu Gast sein im Haus von Dorte, Lars und Familie. Wir, das heisst 3 Erwachsene und unsere 3-jährige Tochter. Die Kommunikation war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der grosse, komplett eingezäunte Garten mit Pool, Trampolin war ein kleines Paradies für unsere Tochter. Für Papa stand ein toller Gasgrill bereit. Mama und Oma haben es sich auf der sehr schönen Veranda eingerichtet. Rund ums Haus gibt es zahlreiche Sitzmöglichkeiten. Im Haus haben wir alles vorgefunden, was es braucht. Nur ein Badezimmer war etwas knapp. Etwas überrascht waren wir von den kleinen Schlafzimmern. Ausser dem Elternschlafzimmer. 3 Schlafzimmer sind im Obergeschoss und eines im Keller. In Gehweite gibt es diverse gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Auch die S-Bahn in die Stadt Kopenhagen ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus für Familien sehr gerne weiterempfehlen!

We loved staying at Cecile’s, it was a peaceful and spacious apartment full of quirky Scandi elegance with space for adults and children. The balcony, pool and lovely kitchen, dining and lounge area were perfect for relaxing in-between trips to the centre by foot, bike, water taxi and metro. Cecile was a delight and went out of her way to accommodate our circumstances. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again.

Excelente departamento para familias. Yo mi esposa y 2 hijos de 11 y 12 años estuvimos 5 dias en el departamento de Vibeke. Esta muy bien comunicado con el centro, tanto por metro como por water taxi y a pie en 20 minutos. Es muy amplio, muy limpio en un vecindario tranquilo y con vistas a la marina y al canal. Lo disfrutamos mucho y sin duda repetiriamos.

Katarina und Peter sind tolle Gastgeber und unser Urlaub war perfekt! Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in einem traumhaften Haus. Dank der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche konnten wir sogar den Geburtstagskuchen für den Großen backen. 🙂 Und das der Pool natürlich perfekt ist für 3 kleine Wasserratten, muss man denk ich nicht betonen 😂 Am liebsten hätten sie die ganzen 14 Tage dort verbracht. Aufgrund der Lage waren viele Unternehmungen in ca. 60 min mit dem Auto erreichbar, so war für jeden etwas dabei. Ob Naturreservate zum Wandern, eine Elchsafari, ein Ausflug nach Malmö und Kopenhagen, eine Walsafari mit dem Schnellboot oder das Automuseum und der Karibikstrand im Süden. Die fußläufige Einkaufsmöglichkeit bietet alles was das Herz begehrt, sodass auch für das leibliche Wohl gesorgt ist. Falls Fragen aufkamen, erhielten wir direkt eine Antwort, was natürlich alles einfacher macht ❤️ Vielen lieben Dank für die tolle Zeit und liebe Grüße Eileen, André, Paul, Jonas und Emil

Die Wohnung von Charlotte und Peter ist sehr schön und liegt im modernen Viertel Slusseholmen. Uns gefiel die private Atmosphäre; man fühlte sich sofort heimisch und angekommen. Wir mochten auch die Umgebung sehr, da man dort sehen konnte, dass es auch schön sein kann in Hochhäusern zu wohnen. Der Innenhof des Wohnblocks ist schön gestaltet und ermöglicht die gemeinschaftliche Nutzung. Mit dem Auto perfekt erreichbar, das Parken ist total problemlos, da es eine Tiefgarage mit Parkplatz gibt. Das Reisen mit Rollstuhl ist möglich, da es sowohl von der Tiefgarage in den Innenhof als auch im Haus einen Aufzug gibt. Was ein bisschen schwierig für Rollstuhlfahrer ist, sind die Türen, sodass man wohl sagen muss, dass dabei Assistenz gebraucht wird. Absolut schön, ist das kleine Freibad vor dem Gebäude, das alle einfach so benutzen können. Und überhaupt ist die Nähe zum Wasser einfach toll.

I would suggest Michael as a Superhost! He is very friendly, speaks multiple languages and replies always within few hours. Great place to stay, especially if you want the city center nearby but also want to enjoy some time off at the beach :-)
