In a magical place in the green heart of France, this architecturally built villa is located in a picturesque valley on the edge of the river with plenty of privacy. This lovingly restored boathouse will allow you to switch off from the modern world, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

The cottage is located on a plot of land comprising two houses (one of which I occupy) as shown in the last photo.

On-site walking trails with waterfalls and marked trails. Ideally located 10 min from Lake Bariousses, 15 min from Treignac and 30 min from Lake Vassivière; you can enjoy tennis activities, walks in the forest or along the river, at no extra cost. You can also fish on the pond.

Welcome to the Studio @ SAGE, a charming apartment in an old mill. This cozy one-room apt is functional and simple, with a full-size bed and 2 single beds (convertible to a king). There's a WC, shower room, and a mini kitchen. Please note, the river is a 3 minute walk downhill through the garden. We're 1km from Treignac village, the Intermarché, and 3km from Lac Bariousses.
