I had an excellent stay at this property! The host was incredibly welcoming and considerate, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The place was spotless, and it was clear that a lot of care went into maintaining it. It was well-equipped with all the essentials and more, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. The host's generosity really stood out—thoughtful touches and extra amenities were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-cared-for stay!.

We spent a week at Longayroux's house with family and friends. We were 4 adults, 4 teenagers and pre-teens and 1 dog. The house is large enough and well laid out for all this little world to live in without any problem. The outdoor space is very nice and the veranda with the play area delighted young and old. The house is nicely decorated and well equipped. David and Audrey have always been very responsive in answering our questions. At this time of the year we felt like we were a little alone in the world with the beautiful view of the lake with the bonus of a sunset on the last night. In summary, a great vacation in a great place.

Hosted in advance by a warm, captivating and generous couple, we come back transformed from this secluded stay in a splendid green setting full of natural resources and allowing many activities (cycling, kayaking, hiking, badminton, ping pong, swing, hammock, barbecue...). Thanks to Nathalie for hosting us and for her flexibility. Ideally located for walks and many activities for young and old. Big bonus for jaccuzi! Very nice house and very quiet environment. In short, we had a great time. We hope to come back!

Accommodation located in a house divided into two parts, one for stays and the other for the owners. The balcony extends over both parts. A staircase is to be climbed to access the interior of the listing. The balcony view overlooks the Argentat sur Dordogne dam reservoir. It is possible to walk to the waterfront after crossing a field. A lot of work has been done to rehabilitate this old house, work is underway especially on the exteriors and the balcony part. The interior of the accommodation has been tastefully redone. A fairly steep staircase leads to the very pleasant large bedroom. Access to Argentat can be done by bike by crossing the dam for example. The listing is located in a hamlet of a few houses. It is possible to access the dam lake by the road that crosses the hamlet, so you are in a loop above the dam.

This house and this place is recommended for those who love nature, peace, water and space! We enjoyed the authentic and charming house of Mabel and Olivier! You will taste the history of the house when you walk through it. It's big and comfortable and the lake is (almost) next door. The dishwasher, washing machine, spacious fridge, freezer and good WiFi are extra pluses. Despite the changeable weather, we took some nice walks in the area. Tip: around the "Jardin de Bardot", which borders the river Dordogne, you can take very nice walks. There are several variants, from light to heavy.. Also being able to sit at the beautiful lake a few more times and sailed a round with the canoe and the supboard. It feels like you have a private beach, and that is 40 meters from the house🙂. Lovely to take dips after a brisk walk or run! Finally, within half an hour's drive, there are several nice towns that you can visit.

Our stay went very well! The accommodation is really a peaceful oasis, perfect for resting and identical to the description. In addition, the lake is right next door so perfect for a stroll. Although it is in a very quiet area there are many very nice things to do. Florence was available and very accommodating, making our stay hassle-free. The only small downside, there is no wifi and the network does not always work... but ultimately it goes well with the relaxing setting😉.
