We had such a comfortable and peaceful night’s stay, it truly felt like a home away from home, plus we loved the wacky decor. The space was clean, cozy, and very thoughtfully put together, with all the little touches that make a big difference. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the quiet surroundings made it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. We really appreciated how welcoming and easy everything was from start to finish. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Spotlessly clean property. Joan was a very responsive and friendly host. Tea, milk, biscuits and coffee were provided. Plenty of hot water. The neighbourhood was very quiet which allowed us to have a peaceful stay.

Absolutely gorgeous house in a beautiful location. Everything was spotless. Angela was a brilliant host, and left lots of extra finishing touches to make our stay 10/10. We will definitely stay here again, and would recommend in a heartbeat.

It was my 2nd time visiting Seaham and my 1st time staying at Steph's place. Such a lovely apartment, beautiful light, very spacious, peaceful, and clean. I stayed in the back bedroom, the bed was very comfy. The welcome basket was a sweet & generous touch. I appreciated the tea bags & the milk. I had tea everyday. I also appreciated the bottled water, as well. The store ASDA is a 12 minute walk where you can find many items, from food, health & beauty to clothing. Also, a couple doors down from the ASDA store is Byron Place, there are stores & a couple sandwich shops inside. I look forward to visiting Seaham in the future & I hope I can stay at Steph's place again. 🙂 Being very close to the sea was WONDERFUL.

2nd time stayong and was really good value, comfortable and just what we needed for a short break. The home is in a quiet area of stocton which is great. Hosts are very easy to communicate with and responsie to messages. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.

Great stay!! Hot tub was immaculate so was the cottage , sofa and bed extremely comfortable and clean. Would 100 percent return here!! Only thing I think it should be 11am checkout and 2pm like alot of other lodges/cottages. Thanks for the little break

I rarely ever write reviews but this one was too amazing not to. Everything from the small details for my sister's birthday to the place blew us away. It's like a small paradise & completely unique. Second time staying at this unique place. Very comfortable and homely flat with everything that you need. There are some good cafes nearby and a good bar in the Teesdale Hotel. The locals in Middleton in Teesdale are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of good walks from the doorstep and Low/High Force a short drive away. Highly recommend.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely host, Dionne, who made us feel instantly welcome. The property itself is nestled in a tranquil and beautiful location, offering breathtaking landscapes that provided the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of city life. Waking up to the sight of horses and sheep grazing peacefully in front of the estate was a real treat. We particularly enjoyed the evenings, setting up a barbecue and later a cozy fire under the vast, starlit sky. The stargazing was simply incredible in such an undisturbed setting. This Airbnb offers a truly perfect getaway for anyone seeking peace, natural beauty, and a welcoming atmosphere. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and would highly recommend this gem to others looking for a tranquil escape.

Had a lovely 1 night stay with my son at Kate’s place before we travelled to Newcastle the next day for a Football match. The accommodation is excellent and Kate is a lovely host. We went to the local pub and also to the local chippy which were both very good. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others.

We had a really great time in Debra's home. Her place is clean, comfortable, and close to the beaches, supermarkets, and restaurants. Debra is warm, welcoming, and quick to respond to texts/emails. We look forward to returning again in the Fall. Thank you so much, Debra! xx

Very good, met all my needs fully. A short drive into the town centre and a communicative and helpful host.

This was a very comfortable stay of 11 days for us. The apartment is spacious. clean, and feels very comfortable right from the outset. It has a well-stocked kitchen and all the amenities and appliances you will need for either a short or long stay. We did a lot of cooking ourselves, but there is also a very nice pub a short walk away. Also the bus takes you straight into the center of Durham from the pub. The area around is pleasant but there isn't much to do except walk and enjoy the countryside, which is very pleasant. The bed was comfy, and the pillows were new (although too soft for us, but thats just personal preference). Overall it was a great stay and well worth the price. The owner was helpful and communicated well, the wifi was good, and the couches comfortable. We would both return and recommend the apartment.

A fabulous few nights at Chris's place, set right on the river in Durham. Beautiful apartment - all we could have wanted & more. Furnished & finished to really high standards - and the welcome treats were the icing on the cake. Everything in the city absolutely walkable. A genuinely lovely place to stay.

The Seaglass Apartment is fantastic!! I stayed for 25 nights and was very sad to leave the Apartment and to leave Seaham. The Apartment had everything I needed. It is nicely decorated and is located within easy walking distance to restaurants, Pubs and stores. The Apartment was extremely clean and has a nice cozy feel. The kitchen is great and the bathroom is wonderful. I especially Loved the bathtub after a long day walking on the beach or hiking. Gillian was Very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions. I am really looking forward to staying there again.

We were so pleased to find Darren's place was available we love this little place it's a great place to stay, we had a train to catch for a theatre trip so convinient

Another lovely stay at this wonderful apartment. It is so quiet and relaxing yet only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Durham and very close to the Cathedral. The apartment was spotless and stylishly and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen has everything you could need to cater for yourselves but with a bakery on your doorstep and pubs, restaurants and a Tesco and a Greggs only a few mins walk away theres plenty of choice if you preferred not to cook. Chris & Wendy provide lots of extras on arrival such as bread, croissants, biscuits, eggs, Tiptree jams, milk, orange juice, butter, Prosecco & Lindt chocolates. There is a coffee machine with a huge choice of coffee capsules to choose from and it is so nice to sit on the balcony over the river with a morning coffee watching the wildlife and the river flowing by. We cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough and are looking forward to returning again next year for an even longer stay.
