In the apartment you will find: - 1 big living room with a comfortable sofa, armchair, big working/dining table and a TV, overlooking the rooftops of Ghent - 1 fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, water boiler, dishwasher, fridge, French press and coffee grinder - 1 bedroom for 2 people (king size bed) overlooking the main street - 1 smaller bedroom with a box spring bed for 2 people and a desk - 1 bathroom with a bathtub and a standing shower - separate toilet - utility room with a washing machine, drying machine, ironing board, iron and a drying rack The apartment is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a shampoo, conditioner, make up remover, body lotion and various other hygienic products. Please take note, that the apartment is not suited for young children (say under the age of 5) since we are not equipped for this and also the furniture is not adjusted (glass coffee table for example). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. The apartment is very close to both public buses and trams. You will find the nearest tram station, Vogelmarkt (tram line 2), just around the corner, and the nearest bus station, Gent Zuid (most bus lines), a couple of streets away. A friend or I will welcome you and provide you with keys and a tour of the apartment. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all! The flat is nestled in a traffic-free street a short walk away from the very centre of the city, close to charming shops, hip bars, amazing restaurants and historical sights. Imagine! Sleeping in the centre of Medieval Ghent

Burgstraat 17 is an old Patrician house constructed in 1515. Later the house was split in 2 houses and became neglected for many years. In 2019 we started the renovation, with as only purpose, to keep the soul and respect the history and grandeur of the original house. Its exceptional history, unique architecture and central position made it worth doing so. Tears, joy and a lot of work resulted in the place where you are right now. We hope you enjoy and respect this place as much as we do.

Fully equipped apartment

Newly renovated apartment on the entire second floor (first floor for some countries) in the very centre of Gent consisting of a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, hot air oven, dishwasher, electrical cooking stove, coffee machine, etc...) and living room with TV and free wifi. The apartment also has a quiet bedroom, a separate bathroom and a separate toilet. For longer stays (from 8 nights onwards), a washing machine and dryer are available as well.

Unieke ligging aan de Leie, in het verlengde van de Graslei en rechtover het middeleeuwse Pand met tal van leuke eet-en drinkgelegenheden, winkels en historische gebouwen rondom. Eenvoudige verbinding met de tram: afstappen Korenmarkt of Zonnestraat. De studio bevindt zich op korte wandelafstand. (De prijs is inclusief toeristenbelasting.)

This apartment on the Begijnhof is stylish and beautifully decorated with an eye for detail. It has a very central, yet quiet location. Major attractions, such as the Gravensteen and the Sint-Michielsbrug, are just a 5-minute walk away. The pool table, the location and the cozy terrace are great advantages of this place. Here you can relax before you go to the heart of Ghent. There is a free garage available, a bicycle and Netflix.

Our guests love that the historical centre is at walking distance and there are a lot of charming little restaurants and local bars nearby. Among our favourite places are these; Amaro bar, Jan Van Gent, Café De Loge (great food, music and our closest neigbours), café René, studio Baksteen (imaginative ceramics and art), STAM museum and their coffee bar and brunch buffet on weekdays and weekends :)

The studio has just been completely restored and is very cozily furnished and equipped with all the facilities to make your stay pleasant. Close to the tram and also parking a few meters away.
