Holiday rentals in Craco

We had a nice stay, located in the center of Monopoli, within walking distance of various restaurants and attractions. The place was not difficult to find and we were given clear instructions and tips in advance where you can park your car for free. You get a typical stay in a 4-storey home with turnstiles which may not be easy for people who are not able to walk. It was very neat and especially the roof terrace was wonderful to start your day in the morning with a coffee.

Despite our late arrival at 10.15 p.m., Claudia waited for us to welcome us, show us the apartment and also direct us to a dining area still open in October (Via Roma). The apartment, very clean and very well located close to all shops, pharmacy 50 m away, also close to restaurants and the historic center. Everything is within walking distance and it's really a plus. We got into the habit of going to have breakfast at Crema Caffé on Aldo Moro Square, just 150m from the apartment. Coffee, tea and Pasticcioto, typical Italian pastry from the Salento region, in Puglia. We were by car and did not have too much difficulty finding a free parking, but in summer, the problem will surely arise. Thanks again to Claudia for her kindness and availability. This is an INCREDIBLE home and far exceeded our expectations. The owners clearly take pride in maintaining this home. The property is gorgeous, the house is beautiful, beds are comfortable, kitchen is well equipped with high-end appliances. There is a lot of space both within the house and on the property. There are so many places on the property to sit, gather, relax, and take in the beauty of the surroundings. You can see Locorotondo easily from the property. The hosts are extremely nice, thoughtful, and responsive. This was one of the best AirBnB’s we’ve stayed in and we highly recommend it. I want to return to this part of Italy just to stay here again!

Typical apartment on the ground floor, with the possibility of feeling a place leaning in front of the door a chair on its paved street, cozy and with everything you need.

We had a great stay at Antonella apartment, great location not too far from Alberobello and Polignano, the only downside are the noise levels from the street, really busy street but overall great place…

Luigi is one of the best hosts I've come across. He is quick to respond to any of the enquiries. We were two families traveling with 3 kids and he went out of his way to get us floaties. I asked him if there was a Bluetooth speaker and before I knew it, he messaged me saying if he can stop by to drop off a speaker he had just purchased. I can't praise him enough. As for the house, the pictures don't do it justice. The pool is amazing. We took advantage of it before heading out to site see. The house is in Alberobello. 3 minute drive to the famous trulli. Lot's of restaurants. Beautiful plazas. From there, we would drive to all the nearby towns like Monopoli, Ostuni, Polignano a Mare. All around half an hour drive from the house. I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend Luigi's house. You are in excellent hands. Thanks for everything Luigi.
