“This is a lovely home in a great location. I have been going to the Boundary Waters for the past 25 years, but now the group I go with is finding the work involved With the BWCA to be a bit much. We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of this home on Susan Lake. We only saw one other person on the lake all week and there are no other homes visible from the gorgeous raised deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the sunrise at the lakeshore and had decent fishing catching numerous NP, 1 walleye, and a couple of bass. The house has spotty cell service which was a plus for us. WiFi worked well and we enjoyed watching a World Cup game on the 70 inch TV (only time the TV was on). The hosts were very responsive prior to our visit and suggested a canoe rental for a second canoe. We did not need any help during our stay as everything we needed was there. Would return for sure!”

“We had a great time at this place. It was in a great location, we were going up to Voyageurs national park and all the things we wanted to see were within an hour driving from the house. Shane was a great host, he had some great ideas for places to see and restaurants close by. The house was very nice and clean and had everything we needed.”
