Monthly Rentals in Cretingham

Loved everything about this little cottage. Nestled in a beautiful village, surrounded by stunning Suffolk countryside, with walking paths a few paces from the front door (beautiful walk up past the village hall). The cottage itself is cozy, comfortable, with a great kitchen and wonderful shower. Bed were comfy too. Lovely back garden for outside dining. I want to go back!

What a peaceful and private spot this is! We loved being down a long drive, in a ‘treetop’ level hideaway, where we could enjoy spotting wildlife and relaxing in seclusion. The lake, donkeys and sheep were a real tonic and very calming. We were warmly welcomed by Alyson and reassured that she was on hand should we need anything. The accommodation was super clean, comfortable and conveniently located for visiting our family in nearby Suffolk towns. We immediately felt at home. The decor is plain and subtle, so it felt calm and classic. We particularly liked the well-appointed kitchen (never seen such clean ovenware! ), the bliss of a bath to soak in, and the fun touches of mugs & lamps with farm animal motifs. Definitely one to return to!

Been to Sues place more than once. Although remote it has a lovely butchers and a good pub with excellent food three miles away. The cretingham bell. Cottage is very comfortable with great amenities. And sooooo relaxing. Will be going back . Also within half an hour of many attractions. Thanks sue for another lovely stay and cake/wine. Nice touch.

We had a fabulous stay, everything was just as described, location was perfect. Lovely little touches, eco counter spray, dog bowls, dog towel, candles, throws. Bed was so comfy. We did not want to leave. It would have been handy to have a shelf in the shower to put shampoo etc but apart from that everything was spot on. Claire was extremely helpful. We will definitely be back. Thank you 😊
