The Little Landlord

The apartment is located in the city center of Braine, in a quiet and secure residence. Braine is a pleasant town with shops (bakery, delicatessen, restaurant, supermarket...) and also with the Abbey of Saint Yved, the Château de la Folie and the half-timbered house of the 15th century. Ideally located on the Soissons-Reims axis, 1.5 hours from Paris, you can visit the Chemin des Dames and its surroundings steeped in history, the Champagne vineyard, the cathedrals (Soissons, Laon, Reims).

It is not known which year the house was built but its antique oak beams throughout the building date from at least early 1600's. Tall ceilings offer a spacious and airy yet very cosy space across three floors. The courtyard has a lunch/dining area as well as a lounge area under roof by the open fire place - you have private access to this tranquil and magical space. The gîte has been created in the miller's house, located next to the old mill in Puiseux-en-Retz, where we live.
