Holiday rentals in Cumberland County

My girlfriend and I attended a trade show in Harrisburg area and prefer to stay in air b and bs vs hotels. It was about a 20 plus minute drive but well worth it after a long day. It was very quiet and comfortable , felt like relaxing at home . Christine helped me get checked in and gave me all the details of the property in person. I would definitely stay here again

Staying in the cabin for my 5 year anniversary was a wonderful experience. It felt nice, cozy and was nestled in the beautiful woods. Close to Gettysburg and an hour away from Hershey, great spot with lots to do within a short drive. The host Luann was so kind and helpful during our stay. We would happily stay here again!

we loved staying here, the house is very cute & i loved all the windows and decor. loved the surrounding nature & the river, we had a great time with the fire pit!

Very clean and bedrooms were a nice size. Kitchen was vey clean and I had everything that I needed as far as dishes, pots & pans and utensils. We would definitely stay again!

I was on a five day road trip with three other women. We stayed at three air b and b's . Hannah and Simon's place was by far the best. We loved this place-- everything about it. The outside and inside are really beautiful. Very artistic and unpretentious. Everything was comfortable. No detail was left unconsidered. We did not have time to visit Harrisburg-- it was just a convenient place to stop on our drive from Pittsburg to Boston. But this place was so special I'm going to see whether Harrisburg and surrounding area would be a good tourist destination so I could stay in this wonderful home again!

Nathan was incredible as a host. The place was awesome: amazing view and so homelike. The only minor struggle for us was the vast difference in the quite cold kitchen and one bedroom in which the heat didn't seem to work, versus the comfortably warm rest of the house. Still, considering the rest of the benefits of the home and the best communication with an AIRbnb host ever, it's easy to say that this is a 5 star experience!

Our family of four (2 adults/2 teens) spent a few nights here while looking at colleges in the area. It was perfect for what we needed. The communication with this hosts was excellent, and the place was very welcoming (even with a basket of snacks) and thoughtfully furnished. We especially loved the decor (whimsical but tasteful). Good location with several coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance. It's also right by the river with a walking trail. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

My husband and I enjoyed our Valentine’s Day weekend stay at Plum Run Acres. The house was beautifully appointed with wonderful finishings. I loved the collection of hobnail milk glass and glass pieces in the kitchen and sunroom, as well as the fun style of the downstairs sleeping area. The kitchen was gorgeous and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time at the house in the sunroom enjoying the snowy panoramic views. We also loved the walk-in shower with multiple shower heads for the most relaxing shower possible! Finally, we had a great time at some local spots: Catoctin Breeze Winery in Thurmont, MD, a quick stop at the outlets in Gettysburg, dinner and drinks with family at Plaza Azteca in Hanover, and great antiquing, coffee and baked goods in New Oxford. We had a wonderful weekend and appreciated all of Mark’s extras, including Valentines’ decor and easy and open communication. We’d love to return!

I don’t have the words to describe how perfect and beautiful this property is. Whomever designed, built, and decorated this home did so with love and a magazine cover worthy eye. All bathrooms and bedrooms were stunning and functional. May be one of the nicest homes I’ve ever had the chance to visit. The kitchen was full equipped and then some. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay. If you’re considering, do it! Host was responsive and great to work with.
